The LG G3 told everyone that thought 1080p was overkill to shove it. The handset proudly beat competitors to the market with a 2560x1440 display resolution, and now all of those pixels will be used to show off Android 5.0 on US Cellular's version of the phone.

The update is going out as software version US99020a, and a number of customers have confirmed the rollout over on the Team US Cellular forum. Folks who can't receive updates over the air are welcome to flash the full 1.2GB ROM. Regular users should see the notification pop up on their devices soon enough.
