I just love creepy stuff. Creepy movies, creepy music, creepy old buildings, creepy dolls and other little toys. Even creepypasta. But most of all, I love creepy games. That thrill of being part of the action...there's nothing quite like it (I mean, except actually being in a situation like that...which I probably don't actually want).

Today, Amazon turned its creepy dial up to 11 with the release of a new game called Lost Within from Amazon Game Studios. It actually reminds me quite a bit of Dark Meadow: The Pact, a creepy rail shooter that came out for Tegra 3 devices a few years ago. I loved that game, so the association is definitely a positive one. Take a look at Amazon's trailer for the game to get an idea of what it's all about:

I think it looks pretty nice. Here's the main issue I have: it's only available on Fire and iOS devices. Amazon, y u no love Android? Without Android there would be no Fire devices! Why have you forsaken us? If nothing else, at least make games like this available on Fire TV.

My sadness aside, if you'd like to give it a whirl on a compatible device, it'll set you back $6.99. There probably aren't IAPs, but I can't say for sure. You know, because I can't actually play it.

Joel? Is that you?

So, um, let me know how it is, I guess.
