Update 9/26/14: Sold out.

Update 11/17/14: The NES30 has been restocked after quickly selling out back in September.

Last weekend we published an exhaustive review of the 8BitDo NES30, a Bluetooth controller designed for phones and tablets with the looks of the original Nintendo Entertainment System but the extra buttons from the Super NES. The reviewer came away impressed thanks to solid functionality, a smart button layout, and a slavish dedication to the classic NES aesthetics. If you want to grab one for yourself, StackSocial is currently selling the NES30 for .99.

That's off of the price that Amazon charges for the controller, which is admittedly a little steep for one with no analog sticks, rumble function, or included battery. But thirty bones is just about right, especially since shipping is free. International readers, StackSocial says the deal has worldwide shipping, but you may have to pay a surcharge for that.

The NES30 is the same size and shape as the original rectangular NES controller, but adds an extra two face buttons in a cross layout and two shoulder buttons on the case, giving it the standard SNES button configuration. It works with Android as an HID controller or a user-defined Bluetooth keyboard, and also works with iOS and Windows. The package includes a snap-on phone stand, a charging cable, and a promotional keychain. Read the review to see all the nitty gritty details.

StackSocial is providing this sale for another seven days, so you've got a little time to grab one.
