The Play Store has a ton of apps and games, often at very reasonable prices. Still, we live in a world where apps are priced very low, sometimes to the point that people scoff at paying even $0.99 for something. Developers can't just give it away, but they can occasionally drop the price to entice those of you on the fence. So stop with the indecisiveness, and buy some stuff that's on sale.

Shameless advertising. Also guilty of upvoting your own post twice (once with the same account and once with a guest account).

Looks like CamScanner is on sale too, $2. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intsig.lic.camscanner

Debating between CamScanner and Mobile Doc Scanner. Anyone have opinions on the two or any other scanning solution?

    • csonic

      Such a great program!!!

    • csonic

Sorry...Cam Scanner is such a great program. Used it for my entire teaching portfolio licensing. Couldn't have lived without it as it made things 100x easier.

I bought the camscanner license when it had only license. Now they have a subscription based model of some kind. They offer cloud backup and stuff. I wouldn't recommend it anymore.

      • TorVic

Same here. I wouldn't recommend it anymore because of their subscription.

      • kamiller42

I see that now. Without subscription, CamScanner seems to have more capabilities than MDScan, e.g. OCR. And, CamScanner has moved a premium feature to paid feature according to What's New. I see MDScan has a long Android history, but I don't see it has changed much over the years. Makes me wonder about development progress.

Is there another app I should be checking out?

Google Drive has a built in scanner O_O

Great deal on Castle of illusion. In for one. Still debating on Dragon Quest VIII. Great game but a bit pricy for an old game. Castle of Illusion is only discounted on Google Play but not on Amazon....at least at the moment.

  • Zewks

Argh, wish amazon would sell Dragon Quest.
