Update 8/18/14: The deal that quickly sold out last time is back.

A 16GB Nexus 7 might leave you tight on space, especially if you plan on playing multiple games on it, but at $129.99 this restriction can be overlooked. The tablet is again available at this remarkable price on eBay Daily Deals, and while it's a refurbished model, beggars can't be choosers when we're talking $100 off.

To make the tablet even more affordable, shipping is free. A replacement is rumored to launch later this year, but until then, this is a good chance to run what is still one of the best Android slates out there without breaking the bank. Besides, it's not like the device is going to stop functioning as soon as the next one arrives. The 2013 Nexus 7 still has some life in it yet.

can we just sticky a section for Nexus 7 Ebay deals somewhere that's out of the way on the site? it seems like there's one of these every day.

    • Altos

Every day is a bit of a stretch, more like every week (there's been 4 deal alerts on the Nexus 7 in the last ~30 days), and maybe you're right, it can be annoying, but it's just one article, even if you don't care about these deals at all, they don't take up that much space, it's easy to ignore them.

      • moelsen8

yeah i know. annoying isn't the right word, more like "didn't i just read a post about a nexus 7 deal?"

    • Badouken

Agreed... The Nexus 7 feels like its on sale every other day... Its getting ridiculous!

damn wish we got deals like that in UK, but even then i would have problems purchasing it, been waiting for a HTC tablet for years, i'll wait a bit longer for the Nexus 8.

Start working at home with Google! It's by-far the best job I've had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail

These refurbished devices has lots of screen issues. Two of my friends got them and they are both screwed. The screen loses touch if you swipe a little fast and you can't drag and drop icons even! I was going to get one but I am afraid it will be like my friends devices.

Just got back from returning a locked-down Memo Pad 7 to Best Buy. Ordered one of these N7s instead.

these refurbished devices come with any tag or number saying is refurbished?

can anyone sell this device as new? How can we verify a refurbished device for sure?

    • Matt Hay

The box does, and they come with a sticker with the SN on them. I bought one last time and last 23 hours before the motherboard failed. Had to RMA back to Asus, and they took care of it, but have heard of others having similar issues with the same batch of refurbs. Since Asus replaced the board has been working great, so I figure for the price, I was willing to deal with the inconvenience.

  • Matt Hay

I got one of these last time, and it lasted less than 24 hours before it randomly reboot and locked at the Google screen. I was able to RMA back to Asus and they replaced the motherboard and said it was an LED (Error) Indicator, whatever that means. I have heard of numerous other issues issue with the last batch of refurbished units from ShopDivvy. The RMA process was pretty painless, but sucked to be without it for almost 2 weeks. Just a warning.
