A minor OTA update is now rolling out to the small population of people who happen to own Google Glass. This release, XE19.1, brings improved network connectivity, so Glass should now do a better job of handling spotty network issues when issuing voice commands. This is good considering how much Google's voice search relies on the web.

XE19.1 also brings in a slight visual revamp, as Glass now has a cleaner look for voice actions.

That's it for 19.1. The release notes for this one are decidedly short, so while you can hit up the source link below for more information, there isn't anything else to see. For now, the best thing owners can do is wait for the update to arrive and experience the goodies firsthand.

Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

If I see fewer "Could not reach Google" error messages I will be pretty happy.
I love it when it fails to complete a search, and you tap to bring up the network diagnostics card and everything is fine.

Google Now on Android isn't perfect at completing voice searches but as of late Glass has been 2x worse.

Lack of comments here indicate how dead Glass is to even the "enthusiast market" that frequents these sites, never mind the mass market.

Glass updates come out every two weeks just about, and are often small and incremental like this. Expecting people on an Android (not Glass) specific site to start jumping up and down is a bit off base.
