When: Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 pm

Where: Novela, 662 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA

What: Lookout's annual Google I/O kickoff party, "Hangout with Lookout." Drinks will start flowing at 7:30 pm at Novela in San Francisco and we'll have tasty food and awesome entertainment. Free giveaways for the first 200 who show up at the door (arrive early: we had a line around the block last year!). *Please note that this event is 21 and over.

Open bar, free food, giveaways...sounds pretty killer, right? Yeah. Even more bummed that I'm not going to I/O this year now. Anyway, about the contest.

Before we get into the details, a little disclaimer is in order:

This is for an entry to Lookout's party only. It's not a ticket to I/O. There are no travel arrangements provided. If you're not already going to I/O, please don't enter. If you win and don't show, we'll send the Goblin King to your house to eat your cat.

Got it? Fantastic. To get your name in the hat, you just need to give us a few details in the post comments:

  • How excited you are to party with Lookout
  • Why you love Lookout
  • What you're most excited about at this year's Google I/O conference

We're not looking for a written essay here – just a short answer to all the above questions will be fine. We're running this one till Thursday, June 12th at 11:59 PM PT. At that point, we'll randomly pick the winning 20.

Good luck, ladies and gents!

Excited to party with Lookout, never been to their parties, bar, free food, and giveaways sounds legit.

Lookout is the simplest security app, its the only one i have used on my device.

Im exited about the Google Tv announcement, can't wait to see what Google has in store after Chromecast.

  • Victor Rubio

1.I have never been to a Lookout's party but i do expect extra security.
2.Lookout the best and consistent security app on android.
3.Everyone expects Android TV but i hope they give us something new.

  • dantalizing

Partying with lookout would be the best thing to happen to me ever! At least today. I like lookout because I dont have to maintain it. Its a set-it-and-forget-it app, but its always current. Most excited to see other android wear developments and the surprises that come out of I/O.

  • Patrick Fuentes

How excited you are to party with Lookout
It would be so frickin' coooooool!
    Why you love Lookout
I added it years ago when I first heard of it, and it's saved my tail a few times when I lost my device.
What you're most excited about at this year's Google I/O conference
    Project Tango!!!

  • Beach BUM

Been using lookout for some time now and can't see myself without it at this point. I would love to be able to talk with the guys behind the technology and thank them in person for all they do for the fans.

  • r2DoesInc

Im REALLY hopeful that they announce AS coming out of Beta. I hate eclipse, but I just cant use AS with as unstable as its been. Its been a while since it was announced, Im hoping it gets some love :(

Super excited to party with Lookout especially not knowing how crazy they can get!
Love lookout because it helps my parents from installing random bad apps and also less tech support from me is needed.
Very excited to see more about hopefully Project Tango and Android Wear at I/O!

  • Sandeep Gadde

Excited to party with lookout while knowing more information about app security and its future endeavors. Besides the security app, I like Zapper Task Killer the most and it seems pretty effective. I'm very much excited about Android Wear which is gonna rock the future technology.

  • psychoace

    I am not

Because it takes up all the unwanted processes on my phone which I am obviously not using

    Less bloatware.

  • Brian

I want to see what GOOGLE I/O has to offer I am constantly waiting for the new things for android

  • John Chandler

I am very excited and didn't even know Lookout hosted these parties each year until I found this article! I love lookout because it is simple and scans my apps every time they update or I download new apps. I am most excited for Android Wear. Personally I prefer the design and ui on the Moto 360 more than the LG G Watch. I was also lucky enough to win the Google IO lotto! Hopefully I will be even luckier!

  • http://samsession.com wyldtek

Lookout helped me send the location of my stolen phone to police. Of course the police did nothing but it did track down my phone.

  • Jared Rameses Session

I love lookout because it gives the anti theft options that manufacturers and carriers will not, plus their parties are always great so I'm always excited to go. I/O this year is exciting because they'll tell me how much money I owe them for my inevitable Moto 360

  • kcslimmers

  • Greg Williams

I'm like totally ready to party with these dudes, totally. I don't use Lookout because I'm not convinced it's needed. Maybe they can change my mind at the party. I'm always excited to see my Google buddies at I/O and go to office hours. I'm kind of disappointed that the keynote is only one day, but it will be good to see what they announce for Android Lollipop and Android Ware.

  • InWin1

I'll be in SF for IO and can't wait to see what will be shown for wearables. Lookout provides a valuable service for everybody with a cellphone. Lookout parties are always fun so I'd like to win.
