The dbrand shop offers skins for a ton of tech gadgets, including a sizable selection of Android smartphones and tablets, providing a way to pimp out your device and add a small layer of protection without having to put up with the bulk of a case. Today the company is offering 50% off its entire store. If you've ever wanted to rob dbrand, today's your chance to do so.

All you have to do is head over to the site, add any number of skins to your cart, and watch as the discount is applied immediately. There's no coupon required to walk out with the goods.

On the smartphone front, the shop has skins for the Nexus 4 and 5, the Moto G and X, the HTC One M7 and M8, and the Galaxy S4. On the tablet side of things, we have the 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7. You could even skin your Pebble while you're at it. Here's a link to the shop for your convenience.

Bertel King, Jr.
Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

  • Bryan Pizzuti

Wow, what a wide selection of devices .

    • athorax

      Right? No G2. Boooo.

      • http://cyanlabs.co.uk/ Fma965

        glad i wasn't the only 1 thinking this. :(

      • Rafter

dbrand's explanation to lack of G2 skins: "Unfortunately not, man. The curved nature of the device, but more importantly the polycarbonate (plastic) shell, doesn't work well with skins. The adhesive bonds very tightly with the plastic and it becomes difficult to remove (sometimes even damaging the device's high-gloss finish). Be weary of buying a skin from anyone who offers it for the G2, as the removal/damage problem is present throughout all vinyl skins on the G2."

        • Justin W

Hold it, they blamed the plastic shell, which is polycarbonate, which is the same as is on the S4?

          • Cristian Borsa

The S4 isn't as glossy as the G2.

          • Justin W

            Ah, that makes more sense.

          • Bryan Pizzuti

            Yes it is.

        • Bryan Pizzuti

Yeah, right whatever, that's one of the most pitiful excuses for not supporting the G2 that I've ever heard, especially when the GS4 sitting right on their site, gloss and all. And yes, they're both the same level of gloss. I own both. If the adhesive is your problem, then maybe you should be using a different adhesive.

Great to see you can make so much money online even when you're having a full blown seizure.

Explain the lack of xperia z skins then

          • Rafter

They're making them right now. They said Z1 and Z2 next week or something

  • Connor Mason

That's not how math works. It doubled the price to get the subtotal and then cut it in half to get to the sale price. Unless the listed prices are already the sale prices. I'm confused.

    • ASSDf

The listed prices area already the sale prices (the last time I checked their store a PS3 controller skin was $12, now it's $6, and a skin for the back of the Nexus 7 was also $12, now it's $6.

They just write the original price in the subtotal (I don't know why).

  • Stylus_XL

Dammit, I ordered new skins for my Nexus 5 from dbrand last week! >:-(

  • Mathias Kenting

If only the screen on my Nexus 4 hadn't shattered after a drop last week.

  • Jonah Stark

I picked up a skin for my nexus 4 after the glass cracked and was quite happy with it. Unfortunately, the nexus 5 skin was a horrible fit though so buyer beware.

  • S_Dot

    I got two questions:

How is it to take off? I got the matte N5

Second, how does it compare to the ones from this site? http://www.icarbons.com/collections/nexus-5/products/nexus-5-dark-wood

    That Dark Wood is sexy

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

I put a dbrand on my N7, and while it's sturdily on there, it would be pretty easy to remove. The skins are very high quality.

    • MyLeftNut

Yeah, they're very easy to remove and depending on how long or how cleanly the install you might even be able to reuse them. I've only ever used dbrands once but I've used decals from decalgirl for years because I prefer more varied designs and they are great.

  • http://404err0r.com/ Henry Park

Darn no note 3, but I could use a PS3 skin xP

  • Naga Sridhar

Ordered mine for N5! Wish they ship it before I travel out of the country else I will have to wait for 2 months :(

  • xnifex

sadly no xbox 1 skins still :(

    • hoosiercub88

Right? I wouldn't put a skin on my phone or tablet, but when I saw console gaming I got excited thinking yes, my controller... then disappointment.

    • Rafter

They said Xbox One skins are in the making

  • LOLO

Just got confirmation form them that they will be accepting Bitcoin as payment option within the next 4-6 weeks. http://i.imgur.com/7YrMRT1.jpg

    • David Margolin

:( sucks that bitcoin is the only 'real' cryptocurrency... There are so many others that have such great communities behind them... dogecoin or go home

      • z0phi3l

I'll stick to real money and not a fad

  • Tower72

I wonder if the back is slightly puffed up to give the camera hole alittle bit of protection. I know skins are supposed to be thin and all, but to use this in lieu of a back cover since my camera lens cover is sort of flush with the body of the phone might not work too well

    • kpjimmy

The back is thin, but durable. There's a camera 'cover' for lack of a better word. There are pics on the site that represent what you get when you order a back cover. But the back is not puffed at all. I have a CF on the phone itself and currently using a Spigen Ultra Thin case and have a dbrand on that was well.

  • Kcls

How long does this promotion last?

  • Joseph Cascio

Possibly the only website that does not give an order total on the final pay page.

    • Tower72

My order did..I knew I was paying 8.00 before I even entered my information, then after it stated that shipping was flat rate of 3.00. So even before the final pay page I knew i was going to pay 11.00 lol

      • Joseph Cascio

Exactly my point. It didn't tell you it was $11. You added 8+3.

  • dan

Shipping cost is higher that the skin itself. Probably just let the sales go.

  • Razormike

Awesome, I was thinking of buying a dbrand skin for my Nexus 4. So this has sealed the deal.

  • someone755

I'm just wondering who on earth would put a sticker on the screen-side of a phone? The edges are irritating, get that shit away from me!

  • Andrew

Their site has been busted all morning... was hoping to take advantage of this.
