Word-Thumb

We all remember Tiny Thief, but let's set those memories aside for a moment. Rovio Stars is back with another Android title. Word Monsters is a puzzle game that's so social, it requires players to sign in using Google or Facebook immediately after completing the initial tutorial. The game itself is an adorable take on word search. Look for words on-screen and swipe them to get points. Doing so will cause them to disappear, sometimes removing letters needed for future words and adding some degree of strategy to the experience. In typical Rovio fashion, Word Monsters is easy on the eyes, even if it is undeniably basic this time around.

Word1 Word2 Word3

Let's cut to the chase - Word Monsters contains in-app purchases to be aware of. There are over 25 available word themes to choose from, bundles that you can either earn or purchase. For the first two weeks of the game, Rovio is offering in-game currency for 40% off. Consider that a warning. The game may be free to download, but that doesn't mean much these days.

Bertel King, Jr.
Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

Oh no! I'm not falling for the old bait and switch again, Rovio. No matter how appealing it is this time.

    Ruzzle, is that you?

No thanks - not going to fall for this a second time, Rovio!

    No! Let's not!
Always be aware which companies screwed you badly.
    Boycott them.
Never, NEVER give them a single cent anymore.
