I hope you've been saving your pocket change in anticipation of some cool Android sales, because today is the day. Although, I'm not sure what you're going to do with the change. There's not a coin slot on your phone, so hopefully you have access to reliable banking. At any rate, your electronic money can be spent on the following things, which are cheaper than usual.

CamScanner PDF Creator – $0.99 from $4.99

Camera Block – $1.68 from $2.59

Busybox Installer Pro – $1.00 from $1.99

ROM Toolbox Pro – $2.99 from $5.99

Heroes of Steel RPG Elite – $1.99 from $3.99

Flashout 3D – $0.99 from $2.99

Suspect In Sight! – $0.99 from $2.99

Stand O'Food – Free from $1.99 (Amazon)

Dark Guardians – $0.99 from $2.49

Final Fantasy IV – $7.99 from $15.99

Picture or the title, which one is correct? :)

    • Mike Decker

I guess I'm not the only one who wants the week to be over.

    • RyanWhitwam

Can't they both be? Nah, I just embedded the wrong graphic.

    Beware of CamScanner

There are a lot of complaints regarding a bait and switch and three tiered plans.
    free version.
    Paid version
    Paid version with yearly fee

    • David Li

      Free version=watermark and ads
      Paid version=ad-free & watermark-free edition
Premium subscription=additional cloud storage service provided by Camscanner with OCR
I would go with the basic paid version and use the cloud (Dropbox, Google drive) integration which is on all versions.

      • Michael

Based on multiple reviews the premium features were removed from paid plus there are multiple popups asking you to upgrade even if you use another cloud service.

        • David Li

That is unfortunate, popups do not provide a satisfactory experience. I haven't experienced any popups but I don't use camscanner all that often. While I understand why they moved to a subscription model, I believe it is way too expensive, considering the price of Google Drive storage.

I don't get why Play Store doesn't have the Free App of the Week or something as in App Store. OK sales are cool but having a "good app" for free once a while is an awesome pleasure.

Google banned my wallet account, so I don't care about sales anymore. Aptoide ftw. Yayyyy...!

    • Frederico Silva

Wth did you do to be banned?

      • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

Made an iOS7 theme app for Android. Google banned by developer account and wallet account.

        • Gaurav Arora

There are plenty of those on Play Store, are they seriously against their policies? You should write to them and complain!

          • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

I've sent a review petition quite a few times. I got automated bot replies only. On wallet side, if they had banned the wallet merchant account, that would've been understandable. But apparently they ban both merchant and consumer account. So, now I can't buy anything from play store. In a way, Google is forcing me to pirate stuff.

On a related note - have you read about the AdSense leak today? Google seems to be following same policies for developer account too. "Developer making good amount of money? Ban his account if he can't harm us. Ban it right before payday. Throw all review petitions to trash".

          • peatcoal

Or you could just use a different account.

          • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

Even if I create a new account, I have one credit card which was previously associated with the banned wallet account. When I associate that with this new account, Google will again ban that account too. So, there's that. Plus, why should I run after Google saying "take my money. take my money"? I am more than willing to pay for apps. But if Google bans my account, I'm not going to jump through hoops.

          • jesuguru

Fair for you to disapprove of Google's antics, but piracy hurts developers far more than Google.

          • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

I did try to avoid that. I bought the Shuttle+ music player, Light Flow pro version, FolderSync pro version from Amazon App Store. But I found that developers don't update their apps there as frequently as they do in play store. Currently Amazon's Shuttle+ and FolderSync are running 2 versions behind their PS counterpart. So, you might understand why I don't wanna go that way anymore.

clipper and Type machine are on sale.

Final Fantasy IV not at 50% off here in Brazil. The weird thing is that there is a message in portuguese saying that it is 50% off.
