Dethroned-Thumb

Android gamers now have access to Treehouse's Steam Greenlit game Dethroned. This competitive action RTS tasks players with building up a ragtag band of soldiers, throwing up suitable defenses, and raiding opponents with all the force pixelated heroes can muster. The experience sits somewhere between an RTS and tower defense game, and it comes with the expected emphasis on multiplayer.

Note, early access here means early beta, so expect this adventure to be a bit rough around the edges. Dethroned may be available for download, but don't be surprised to run into a bug or two. The game crashed on me when I tried to check out its in-app purchases (though I guess that could be considered a good thing). For those who'd rather play it safe and wait around, we will be sure to toss up an announcement once a stable version of the game hits Google Play.

I am pretty sure not at all, it is more that other style of "rts"

Actually since when does dota counts as RTS? It's basically an ARPG. What happens to game like c&c and supreme commander, you know, when you actually control an army in an epic battle, instead of controlling one guy and spam your skills, like what you did in an ARPG?

I put RTS in quotes because of this, there have only been a couple actual RTS games on Android and they never end up getting real polished or finished other than StarFront by Gameloft, but that one isn't even supported anymore... I agree none of the games that are advertised as RTS games are actual RTS... when I heard RTS I want StarCraft/Total Annihilation gameplay..

      More like Dota.

Feels like Lite RTS with Dota element (hero, skill and other stuff)

I think the gameplay is fun and simple, but i prefer to play it on 10 inch tablet or PC than playing it on the phone

Played this a while this morning, it's surprisingly fun, though it does feel a bit like it was a port rather than mobile-first. But the gameplay was fun. Only tried AI, couldn't find an opponent for multiplayer.
