Sometimes there are a few worthwhile sales, and you might see one or two things that pique your interest. Other times it's an embarrassment of riches, which adequately describes today. It's spring sale season in Google Play, and that means you should break the wallet out.

I Understand there a sponsor but no one should be dropping 70 dollars on a gps app. Find the area you need in google maps long press and mark it to be available offline. and your good to go.

    • Trina S

Some people like specific interfaces. I think of it as dummy-tax if they pay that much for a GPS app whose only real feature is offline access.

That's not necessarily true - the area that can be saved for offline use is pretty small. Just last month I tried to do that when travelling somewhere with no cell service at all that's about two hours from my house. I couldn't save the entire area, nor could I save the route. I ended up losing service and having to figure it out myself.

      • ltredbeard

In my experience if you load the route prior to losing data your route guidance will still work. Take a wrong turn however......

Or just download Mapfactor Navigator for free and use the free maps for anywhere in the world

Not completely true. Making a map area available offline only saves you data for downloading the map details. You still need data connection to search and find route for navigation.

So making map area offline doesn't give you offline navigation.

I agree - but for different reasons. I grabbed Co-Pilot during one of the Google Play sales for $7 - for full North American maps. Always go to it when I'm in no-data-land.

    • Ark

Except this works in very few places.

70 bucks for a gps app is comical though.

  • yodatom10

if you don't have riptide gp 2 yet its a must have especially if you have a controler :)

  • Mayoo

God of Light HD ... I paid for the original + additional levels (before you could unlock it with fireflies). Dammit, I,ve spent my money too fast or what?

I'm unable to redeem the code for Xday any help?

  • Matthew Fry

Jack Lumber was on one of the Humble Bundles and I've enjoyed it. Rayman Fiesta Run is a solid sequel to Jungle Run and remains entertaining.

For those who think "OfficeSuite Pro 7 – $0.99 from $9.99" is a bargain: Think again. This app is crap. The free Quick Office works better. Check comments in Play store.

"Business Calendar Pro" is a bargain however.

What kind of issues have you had? My experience has been mostly positive.

Does anyone know if Sygic still only allows installing on one device at a time?

I'd really love to buy it, but having to get two licences just to be able to install it on both Tablet and Phone is not an option - especially since most other things on the Play Store allows multiple installs...

    • Sygic

Hi, you can use your license on three devices.

  • CrazyPaladin

Wait, aren't Temple Run: Oz and some other titles always 0.99 USD? Did they raise the price at some point or is it like a promotion trick. Also I love the oz game but they don't seem to give it update anymore
