Here's the arrangement, dear Jaded Android Gamer - you will pretend you have zero interest in FarmVille, and we will pretend not to judge. Instead, we're even going to provide you with this tidbit of news: FarmVille 2 is coming to Android phones and tablets soon, with an early version already available for testing in select regions.

FarmVille1 FarmVille2

FarmVille3 FarmVille4

The US is not one of the countries with access to the game, so we here at the virtual Android Police offices have not yet had a chance to get our hands on the title (I'm sure you can imagine how distraught we are). Nevertheless, here are the answers to some of the more immediate questions. Country Escape is not a copy of the version of FarmVille 2 available for the web, so players are free to enjoy both versions. That said, some rewards are available solely for people who enjoy both games, and they will be able to sync them between both titles. The sequel takes place in a coastal setting, so think of it as a vacation where you bring all of your work with you. As for whether the game contains in-app purchases? I'm going to pretend you didn't ask.

Unfortunately, we don't yet know which countries the game is currently available in. If yours is one of them, feel free to share with us and others in the comments below.

Thanks, Pawan Yadav.

Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

I want IAPs everywhere as this model is so freakin' awesome!
Browser? Why not - give me the search results, let me open one link and then charge me for opening further links.
Play Store? Hell yeah! Updating five apps a day is free, every additional costs money. Or gems or whatever IAP currency we choose.
Battery life would be gorgeous too! Like... The first 50% are free. Further battery power will be charged, in 10% steps that subsequently get more expensive.

Zynga and King are just the mostest awesomest companies ever!!!

Hay Day is already a juggernaut on mobile devices. To bad people will flock to Farmville just based on the name.

So you're basically saying that one stupid crap game with crap IAPs will make more money than another stupid crap game with crap IAPs?
      How sad!

It said "Play Anywhere Online or Offline", is that true?

    • Thatguyfromvienna

      It's a typo.
      It should say "Pay anywhere".

    • rawker

Yup, it works offline, but some things get disabled.
