Who's that guy? You know the one. He was in that thing... umm, the thing? Better just whip out the IMDB app and make use of it's slick new interface to figure it out. Yes, v4.2 is out of beta so everyone can enjoy the updated look and feel. This app finally feels like a part of Android.

This interface debuted in the beta release last month, but we didn't know about all the odds and ends IMDB was adding. The UI is the headlining feature, obviously, but having more detailed information is handy as well. It's just nice to see all those ugly gradients gone. The update is live now for everyone.

It says inspire launcher at the bottom, not IMDb.

Give me an option to remove the ads, you butts! I'm willing to pay!

I guess I have to wait a few minutes or later for it to show up as an update like I did for Instagram earlier today. I really want apps to look like they're built for Android. A unified look is a satisfying feeling when going in and out of Android apps and using them. Great pleasure. It goes down to the icons.

can we play trailers and read the info on the bottom? kinda like watching a video on youtube and reading comments? that is what i want.

The update seems .... odd. While the application seems a bit more in order (thanks to the sidebar), i am sensing the details on-screen are ... cramped!? Don't know ... maybe just me.

Still has the dumb splash screen.

You can open the Settings screen from the menu in the Settings screen...and then the Settings screen from the menu in the Settings screen...and then the Settings screen from the menu in the Settings screen...and on and on...

Certainly a big improvement but I still feel the app is very glitchy... Scrolling stills doesn't feel that fluid but hopefully that improves in time.

Nice UI redesign (it was about time), but still feels laggy.
