The Talon Twitter client has glided up to version 2.0, and it has quite a lively changelog trapped within its claws. The list is too long to fully dive into (no seriously, look at this thing), but here are a few of the highlights. The app now has a floating compose button, which you can see tucked in the bottom right corner of the first screenshot below. In the compose window that pops up, users have the new ability to post from different accounts. There's also a new bar widget, transparent widget themes, and a healthy helping of new app animations.

Version 2.0 also shows pictures, mentions, and favorites on profile pages. Here's our very own Twitter page.

What's new:

  • Talon Pull overhaul
  • Floating compose button
  • Discover main drawer element
  • Pictures, mentions, and favorites on profiles
  • Animations
  • Post from different accounts on compose window
  • Tons of widget options and a new bar widget
  • View retweeters of a tweet
  • Much more here

If you don't have the app installed, feel free to snag it in the Play Store below. As for the people upgrading, note, transitioning could take a while, especially if you've saved a ton of tweets. There's a great deal of cleanup to do.

Bertel King, Jr.
Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.

Please, AndroidPolice. Share this your homescreen wallpaper. Is beautiful!

I was testing out the Bitmado app, which cycles through wallpapers automatically. You should be able to find it in there: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bitmado

        So... it's like Muzei?

        • http://bertelking.com/ Bertel King, Jr.

Not really. Bitmado is more like reddit for wallpapers, with the ability to upvote and downvote each one. I prefer Muzei, since it lets me blur/darken wallpapers and is just more customizable overall.

    Does this have Tweetmarker?

It's too good, inb4 "token limit reached, no more updates"

Then they can just add an option to add your won api key.

I would use Talon as my main Twitter app if it could block keywords. I need this feature to prevent spoilers and to filter out news I have no interest in.

    • Barry Wilhelm

This has been added with this version.

Handsdown the best twitter client EVER existed. Period.

I love this dev, and all of his apps. Adore the fact that he utilizes Android's Guidelines PROPERLY. Kiss him people. KISS.HIM.

It's a beautiful app but I'm never going to invest in another Twitter app, they all die eventually.

Falcon pro still lives on with it's sneaky hack ;)

But it never gets updated, and technically it's free now as well.

Try using Fenix for Twitter. It's still on preview but damn it sure is already the best for me. Stable, fast and feels very Google. No issues whatsoever so far. Check it out. http://mvilla.it/fenix/ Talon is great too though and the developer is very dedicated seems everyday there is an update so good job sir.
