Ever since developers were turned loose on the new Muzei live wallpaper, we've been seeing really cool extensions. A lot of extensions, actually. So many that it can be hard to choose which one to use. Now you don't have to agonize over the decision – MultiMuze cycles through them all automatically.

MultiMuze is accessed through Muzei just like any other extension. Just open its individual settings to tweak the performance. You can enable and disable each source and choose how often it moves on to the next one. This extension won't override the refresh settings of other sources, so no need to worry about the sources refreshing too quickly or eating up mobile data.

Like all the other Muzei extensions out there, this one is free.

    This perfects this app.

Only other thing I want is a gesture to change the wallpaper.

That's one of the main reasons I'm still using 500 Firepaper: it uses a three-finger tap to change images.

I rommed my phone just so I could get Muzei. Everyday it gets better. I love that Android has so many talented (and fast) developers. Thanks!

ROMmed? This isn't a root app! But still good on you :)

Remember this works only above 4.2+

I've got a AT&T S3. I wasn't about to touch the "official" garbage Samsung is putting out. It was rom or sit on 4.1.2 until I get a new phone. Muzei was the last straw, I wasn't going to sit idly and miss out.

As an aside I've been a CM user since CM7 on another phone (Captivate, which I still use). The new CM installer is the berries.

OMG! OMG! OMG!!! I? was just thinking of this last night... "it would be awesome if it could automatically rotate the sources." BOOM!

  • Ryan Callihan

    Hell yes

  • Proioxix

I love Android. This is a really coop app, awesome stuff.

Its amazing how fast the ecosystem popped up around this app. Makes me happy.

Is there any way to adjust how quickly the Muzei app cycles through background images?

    • NF

It depends on which extension you use. The default changes at 9pm each night. The reddit one for example changes at a specified interval.

What I really want is Tasker support so I can tell it, via Tasker, to change sources. I'd like to use some more NSFW sources in some environments and work-friendly ones in others.

  • NF

    This is an amazing idea.

Am I the only one who hates the fact that when using a live wallpaper, the background for recent apps becomes black?

That the only reason I'm not using muzei!

      Enter the xposed module LWInRecents.
      Live Wallpaper in Recents.
      No more sadness Sahil.

        You made my day!

It would be perfect if you could make all your icons and widgets disappear and only see your wallpaper.
