One of the most consistently awesome games on Android is The Room. However, once you've beaten it there isn't much replay value in solving the same puzzles again. Well, clear your schedule – The Room 2 is now available in Google Play.

The Room 2 presents you with a a series of beautiful 3D environments that you must explore to solve the puzzles left by a mysterious scientist known only as "AS." The design of the game makes it easy to start playing – just tap on things, zoom in, rotate knobs, and so on. Just like the original, the visuals look wonderful and detailed. The Room Two is absolutely brimming with style.

This game is a 279MB download and should run on most devices. The Room Two also adds Google Play Games cloud saving so you can play on multiple devices. This title is quickly accumulating 5-star reviews, so the $2.99 price tag shouldn't be a barrier to entry.

Welp, just finished the first chapter. Same classic The Room style, but even creepier! I would definitely recommend! (The first one was like...a whole day at work for me. So addicting.)

  • runderekrun

Hmm buy this now or wait for its inevitable release with a Humble Bundle...

    • guyfromtrinidad

Dude I was thinking the same thing. I think i'll buy it though because this was a pretty fast port from iOS (It came out for iOS on Dec 12th)

    • Medvedi Petrovichi

you might have to wait tons and tons of days till that happens... i was thinking maybe i can wait for a sale or something, but f-that, the first game i finished as i first launched it, didn't put the phone down till i saw the credits. so the decision to buy the second part didn't take too long. the price is way to small for this amazing game

How the heck is this NOT COMPATIBLE with my LG GPad 8.3? The thing is blindingly quick with a modern processor and running Jellybean. I loved the first The Room, but am pretty annoyed by this. I'm not the only one, either--there are a lot of reviews complaining that their modern device isn't compatible.

    • Matthew Fry

Curious. It says its compatible with the Nexus 10 and my Note 3 but not my wife's Tab 3. Maybe they don't like the 8" form factor?

      • Grahaman27

        n7 with 1080p is compatible.. lg gpad 8.3 has 1080p I believe.

    • benjdm

Also not compatible with Motorola Moto G!

    • rprice99

Same here WTF?!?! Seriously, any explanation?

    • Sfawcett

If you think your device should be supported, contact Fireproof through their website and they'll see if they can turn it on for you.

    • Hobie Helbich

It's not compatible with my Tegra Note 7 either, and that thing is built for gaming. I did contact them and they said they fixed it. That was a few days ago and it still shows up as incompatible on the play store....

    • rprice99

LG G Pad is supported now :)

I thought that Samsung GS4 is a high end device until I've come across room 2

  • Sergii Pylypenko

    Instant buy from me.

      Same. Best android game <3

    • Natassia Tavares

Me too! Although I couldn't finish the first one, I totally looooove it!
Just hoping it has immersive mode *_*

      • Sergii Pylypenko

After some time the hint icon appears in the corner, so whenever you're stuck on a puzzle you can just wait a bit and read how to solve it

        • Natassia Tavares

Well, I know that! But I got stuck at some point, and then I bought another tablet, forgot that I should save my progress somehow, and I just stopped.

  • Matthew Fry

Allow me some indignation after the first game's ending and seeing iOS have it for 3 months. I am also in the Humble Bundle boat but they have me so wrapped around their fingers I cannot wait for it.

  • SmithCommaJohn

    "Oh hai, Mark!"

    Sorry, wrong "The Room"

    • xHabeasCorpusx

      Oh Hai, Johnny. Where's Lisa?

  • Matt Holmgren

Incompatible with my VZW LG G2 :(. I loved the first one.

    • surya

Same here. Not compatible with Samsung GS4. :((

      • Matt Holmgren

I emailed the developer right away and he replied and that night it was supported.

  • Mantas

Should I play the first one before downloading this? Or are they unrelated in terms of storyline?

    • Régis Knechtel

Yes, you should! Two reasons: 1- Storyline. 2- IT'S AMAZING!

  • Casin

Cloud save with G Play Games! Finally a game does this right!

  • chubbycheese

Just bought it. Gave a 5 star review already. I know it will be great.

  • andreinic

C'mon... I was looking for this game and is not available for a phone with 2gb of ram-lg optimus g... But on the bright side is available on the old tab 2 with 1gb ram. What's the strategy here? What they are thinking?...

  • Manindra29

Big fan if the first game, bought it asap.
But sadly, it has got some major bugs. On my gt-i9300, the game fails to load Chapter 4. Gets stuck on the loading screen. There were no issues with the first 3 chapters. Really disappointed, story was getting quite interesting. Hope they fix it soon.

  • HayleyP

Absolutely gutted as I enjoyed The Room soooooo much. I wanted to buy Room two straight away. Found it on google play, only to be told its incompatible with my device!! (4 days old Samsung Galaxy Tab3) Help anyone?????
