      • Dario · 753 a.C. .

        yah, in italy too! :)

    • Stalemate

I got Go Launcher Prime from Canada.

      • Habs Killa

        For free with this sale?

        • Dario · 753 a.C. .

to get it for free you have to download the normal version and to paste the promotional code in the settings app. then you'll get the pro version. anyway if you unistall it, you won't be able to use pro version anymore

        • Stalemate

Sorry for the late reply, but ... yes. As Dario explains.

  • bat0nas

Does GO Launcher Prime become yours permanently or until first reinstall (if you don't have a proper backup)?

    • Adam

Doesn't look like it, had to do this on all my devices so it does not seem to "transfer"

    • xnifex

It's not permanent, so make site to back up

  • Sergiu Dogaru

for anyone interested, we're having a sale/experiment on Smart IR Remote too now, $4.99: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy

    • MikeJwF

looks cool, how much is it normally?

      • Sergiu Dogaru

It used to be $9.99, but in the past couple of months we've been selling it for $6.99. This is only the second time we've lowered the price to $4.99 in a year by the way :-)

        • Guest

any chance for having it for GNex?

          • Sergiu Dogaru

Unfortunately the GNex doesn't have an IR Blaster, which is required by our app to send commands.

          • Guest

ohh.. thanks for your quick reply. seems a great app to me.

        • https://plus.google.com/108596272537415356460/posts Jason Farrell

Love the app. Bought it for $7 a week or so ago when CyanogenMod 11 nightlies arrived for the Note3, so I had to leave the TouchWhiz IR app behind (forgot what it was called).

Only thing missing is a notification remote control. Could you guys possibly create an Xposed module with deeper root hooks to allow for that?

          • Sergiu Dogaru

That notification doesn't even require root, and we will try to do something smart with it :)

          • https://plus.google.com/108596272537415356460/posts Jason Farrell

Cool. I understand that a basic custom notification layout doesn't need root, but samsung had some special sauce to have their notification look "richer" and be collapsible up at the top of stack, which needs deeper OS hooks.

4 Simple buttons works for me, though :) ... POWER | MUTE | VOLUP | VOLDOWN

If I upgrade to Go Launcher Prime and then uninstall it or change roms, when I install it again will I keep the prime version or will it default to the free one?

    • solbin

Will default to free one. You will need to use Titanium Backup or Helium (or equal) to backup/restore full version.

      • Alejandro Oliver

        Thanks

  • Paul Faraday

Invalid promo code for EX Prime. Bugger!

  • Tim Sooley

Go launcher prime promo code is invalid. I live in the USA

    • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

      Worked for me.

    • Kettir

Invalid for me as well. I live in the USA.

    • pizentu

case sensitive. Make sure you are only using lower case

  • grendude

To enter the code open the menu and go to Preferences > About GO Launcher EX > Enter Activation code. This offer is only valid for new users of GO Launcher Prime. Existing users won’t find the dialog to enter the code.

    • Adam

You can go into System Settings > Apps > GO Launcher and clear everything... Relaunch GO Launcher and it will show, after you enter the code you can simply restore data only from Titanium Backup and get your settings back.

      • Sorian

        Thanks for the info.

Side note: You can backup your Go Launcher settings in Preferences > Advanced Settings > Backup and Restore. Just did this and didn't lose Prime.

    • Paul Faraday

      Thanks

    • Kevin Thomas

Yes, thank you just couldn't figure it out.

    • Stalemate

FYI - I already had Go Launcher EX on my Atrix 4G and the code was still good for the installation on my Note 3 (same Google account on both devices).

    • Intruder7s

If I do that and then uninstall it, will I be able to use the pro version in the future if I redownload it ? Thanks.

      • Dario · 753 a.C. .

i think you'll lost it, but i didn't verify it. your best bet is to make a backup with /data/data too

        • Intruder7s

Yeah I did! Thanks anyways :D

    • Dario · 753 a.C. .

does it remain with the account? or when i'll unistall it i'll lost it??

  • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

Downloaded Go Launcher EX, Entered the code to make it prime, took a backup in TiBu, then froze Go Launcher 'coz I don't like Go. Why bother for Prime then, you ask? Why not? A $6 app is getting free. And maybe if they pull their act together in future.

    • PuzzledObserver

How can you verify that the appsales unlock works OK? I don't see anything PRIME in the app after unlocking it. Also, would the unlocked "Go Launcher EX" remains unlocked for future updates? Thanks for any clarification.

      • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

When you press ok after entering the code, you get a toast notification saying that the code was applied successfully. Prime has extra features like filters for wallpaper, extra transition animations, extra gestures etc. See if you are getting those options in Go launcher settings.

You should be still on Prime after usual app updates. But NOT if you uninstall the app and later reinstall it. You can take a backup of the app using TiBu and if you restore that backup later, that will still have prime.

        • PuzzledObserver

Cool thanks. Looks like I can set the Gestures in the Preferences. Made a backup following your advice. BTW, what a crappy way of unlocking an app which cannot survive a re-install.

        • Aki I.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled (twice) and I still have the prime features

          • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

Maybe the uninstall didn't clear data and when you reinstalled, it picked that same data. If you have another device, can you install Go Launcher on that device and see if that also gets prime?

          • Aki I.

Why not, I'll give it a try and report back soon.

          • Aki I.

I deleted the go folder in the internal sd of my device and upon reinstalling prime was locked but I was again able to unlock with the code. So it looks like the setting is stored in the folder

Any reason why I should try Go Launcher over Nova?

I used to use Go when I had Droid X but now I have Nova on my G2. I guess Go Launcher has more themes to choose. But any ideas?

    • My name is….

No, its ugly and its slow.

  • sean

If you uninstall it without some sort of Titanium back up you lose Go Launcher Prime and it's back to the free version

  • obidos

Thanks for the heads up on GO Launcher Prime!

  • Klappa

Go Launcher must be the most shitty launcher i've tested on Android yet. It's ful of ads and adds alot of crap beside the shitty ugly launcher.

    What a piece of trash!
