Getting content from your old phone to a new one can be a hassle, but Motorola Migrate makes it surprisingly simple. Just install the app on both devices, scan a QR code or NFC, and the transfer happens over a direct WiFi connection. With today's update, Migrate expands beyond the Android ecosystem to include the ability to get your data from iDevices backed up with iCloud.

There isn't an iOS version of the migrate app. Rather, you log into Migrate with your iCloud credentials and it pulls down all the data. The update also includes some random bug fixes, but doesn't every update? Motorola Migrate is compatible with the Moto X, Moto G, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini, and Droid Ultra.

"Motorola Migrate App Updated to v1.2 with Support for iButt" I'm starting to love this extension.

I have the same one installed. Laughed way too hard at this.

It actually will install on the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 as well, I can't test compatibility since I don't have an iOS device.

That's just for transferring FROM those devices. It only transfers TO a Motorola device. The settings lack the option for transferring data to a non-Moto phone.

I'm still far from getting a new phome, but I already decided it'll be a Moto G (unfortunately I can't afford the big brother). I get way too excited reading all the Moto news already. Like a dog waiting for his treat :P

Why a Moto G? The X is much better.

Apple, Moto and Google should collaborate to make something like this but for all devices to migrate from one OS to another without any hassle
