12Hours isn't the most complex, resource-intensive, mind-blowing app out there, and that's just because those characteristics would only hold it back. This analog clock widget doesn't just tell you the time - it goes a step further by displaying your scheduled events for the next twelve hours. This way, you can see how long you have until your next meeting (or how long until the miserable thing is over) without cluttering up your screen with lists of times and dates.

That's it, really. The beauty of 12Hours is its sheer simplicity. Just drag the widget to your homescreen, select which calendars it should keep up with, and you're done. Sure, its basic, flat look isn't for everyone, but color me impressed.

Very useful. Just needs the colors to match the calendar, and have some different, more attractive style options.

Wait, the colour scheme doesn't match with the actual calendar? That only makes it confusing.
It's a good idea otherwise, it would be nice to know how much time you've got to rest until you planned something with just a quick glance.

    • Primosz

Author here - working on it, wait till tomorrow or day after that. I didn't expected (publishing 2 days ago) such hype about it, and I just need some sleep, so please be patient.

It installed fine on my 4.1.2 Arrows X. Nice being able to select calendars to include. However, on my Nexus 7 (unrooted, current version, 2013), the app installed and disappeared. It took a reboot to see it listed in the Widgets' list.

        Nice app :-)

I do want to repeat the request for the ability to tap the clock to update its display -- and to tap to change its display settings. Maybe three tapping zones: 12-3 refresh, 3-6 launch calendar, 6-9 open widget settings. Or one tap opens a dialogue asking which of these actions to open.

Hey, what about a version with transparent background? I mean without filling the dial with background colour, just white numbers/hour marks, hands and the coloured calendar "slices".

        • Primosz

Yes, it is on my ToDo list - with "more advanced customizations" in first update will add custom colors and colors from calendar. But after that - I will try adding that.

    Crappiest shit I've ever seen

    • le_lutin

      You talking about your comment?

      • _artem_

Omg guys you're such a hamsters... you gonna like every piece of shit AP gonna promote.
I'm pretty sure if AP posts a fuckin' fart app with tons of pics of different shaped shit pieces. You still gonna cry it's a best app ever. Learn to have your own opinion and not to be up with the crowd

        • HolyFreakingCrap

Do you have the link to the AP Fart app? I cant find it on the Play Store :(

          • MasterGator

Same here, I'm looking for the fart app too! first heard about it on AP and I must have it. Must have it!

        • http://royblumenthal.com/portfolio royblumenthal

Yuch. How grotesquely rude you are. Some developer put sweat, brains and love into this app. Just cos you don't like it doesn't give you the right to call it a piece of shit. Learn some manners. Get some etiquette. And grow up up. Ugly ugly ugly.

        • usaff22

          You suck.

        • TornyiBarnabásazIsten

Actually it's based on the simple but clever idea, but you're a cunt.

        • moehre

You can have your opinion and even post it here.
But the tone really is one of an asshole.

    • iDroiD

I don't need to remind you after all these comments that you are a pathetic rude person. Get a life dude!

  • Thomas Wince

You dont have to showcase all the reddit shit. Its good that it is contained there, nobody wants it to leave.

  • Paul

I'm missing something. I just see a analog clock with color, no mention of a calendar or upcoming events.

    • Tomáš Petrík

The colored blocks represent when an event is scheduled.

  • Conor Anderson

    It's too damn big!

    • Spasillium

      That's what she said?

    • Primosz

Hi, as author- update with 2x2 and 3x3 (re-sizeable) is comming! Should be available in 2-3 hours.

      • HolyFreakingCrap

        Points finger!

      • http://www.flickr.com/photos/77537273@N03/ Herman

Hey developer, I'm loving the app!
The only thing I'm missing is an option to make the widget a shortcut for the (Xperia) alarm. Could you add a setting to choose the widget's shortcut instead of the calendar? I'm too used to clicking the clock widget to go to my alarms.

      • Ed Masarsky

Have it on my Nexus 4. Looks great except the outer ring shows up gray, no colors for events. Rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled. Help!

  • HolyFreakingCrap

    Very cool app.

  • Matthew

I don't understand Android users obsession with clock widgets when the time I'd in the upper right corner on every screen

    • HolyFreakingCrap

You can hide that with Gravitybox.

      • Sabin Bajracharya

And why in the world would somebody wants to hide it? :D

        • TornyiBarnabásazIsten

Because it's small shite and redundant if you have a big widget.

      • jpfrasier

Nova Launcher lets you hide it as well if you have root access.

    • mark01

yeah... same for weather widgets... next are the devices to count your heart beat...
