At this point, you've probably heard about Tony Horton's monstrous gut-busting P90x workout. If not, check this out:

If you've got the space and the [very minimal] equipment, you can get lean, ripped, and in shape*. To accompany the DVD set, Beachbody has now dropped the official P90x app into Google Play, which will help you keep track of your progress, weight loss, sets, reps, workout schedule, and more. Early reviews of the app are appearing to be positive for the most part, which is always a good sign for an app like this – it's so easy for companies to just throw something together to get it into the Store. Nice to see Beachbody actually took some time get it right (even though the screenshots show Gingerbread).

The app will set you back $2.99, but if you're already invested in P90x, it's probably worth it. Head below to grab it.

What;s with that 3 dot thing next to the title of the app? Is that an overflow menu or a hamburger icon for pulling out a navigation bar? Why don't app designers know the guidelines yet?

    • Ishaan Rajiv

Either way, it could be worse. *cough navbarmenubutton cough*

  • FunkyMonkey

why do they charge for it P90X is already expensive, this is just a tracker with in-app purchases, how is this even worth 3$?

    • ddpacino

Oh realy... in-app purchases?? NAh, glad I didn't get to buy it yet. I planned on it when I got home.

  • phi0

Is that a Nexus S running Gingerbread?!

    • Bob G

More like an iPhone4S with a rounded top. Looks like a flip phone, or that Samsung Continuum.

Hey anyone tried this workout? I've done the insanity workout and it is certainly aptly named. How does this one compare?

    • just a loner

It's a good workout. I dropped 20 lbs on my first cycle with it.

    • anezarati

its definitely a good workout. you will need more equipment than insanity though.
