Following on the heels of the white 32 GB Nexus 5, the black 32 GB version is now in stock on the US Google Play Store, leaving the warehouse in 1-2 days. If you weren't able to get your hands on a black 32 GB Nexus 5 originally, now's your chance. If you're in the market for a new phone, the Nexus 5 is certainly an attractive option with its hefty hardware specs and comparatively low price. In case you need a refresher, here's what $399 buys for you:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26 GHz
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 32 GB of storage
  • 8 megapixel rear camera / 1.3 megapixel front camera
  • 4.95" 1920x1080 display (445 ppi) full HD display
  • Unlockable bootloader
  • Android 4.4/KitKat with updates direct from Google
  • Carrier-unlocked and compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

      Aaaaaaaand it's gone.

"Leaves warehouse by December 13, 2013."

      That was quick.

I can almost guarantee you that means nothing. I think Google just says that to increase hype. I ordered mine on the 9th and it shipped on the 10th and I got it today. The estimate said in 4-5 weeks. Anything you say Google...anything you say :p

        • Michael Carlyle

True. I ordered mine on Dec. 9th and they said leaves by the 12th. It shipped late the 9th and was delivered the 10th. Loving this LTE and phone in general!

        • Reed

Lots also buy those just to immediately resell for profit on Ebay, further strangling supply.

        • Arthur Dent

Yeah, even back on the 5th when I ordered mine, it shipped the next day even though it said they would leave the warehouse by the 11th.

        • rap

I ordered a black 32gb after 7pm on the 9th. Said it would leave the warehouse on the 11th. It shipped before 2am that night and I had it just after 1pm on the 10th. Faster than I was expecting.

  • Kevin Wong

Hoping the white 16gb will be available tomorrow.

    • Daviel James

      Me too!

      • piggy

I'm waiting for the 16GB black...it said leave warehouse on December 20. That means i wont receive it by Christmas. That is sad since it is a gift for my bf :-(

        • charles anderson

you must be the greatest gf ever ...i wish mine would buy me a n5 ya know if i didn't already have one

          • piggy

He got me an ipad 4 last year tho. Maybe if you get your gf something like that and be nice to her all year long, you would get one too...hehe
Btw, I cant wait, so i canceled my 16GB and got 32GB instead. It will be shipped on 12/17. Hope it will be delivered before Christmas. :-)

any idea when it'll come for the indian market ?

    • Aniket Patni

Even though the indian Play Store says 3-4 weeks, some people have received their orders in just a few days, in various cities (delhi, mumba). Heard about this on XDA. Not taking any chances and waiting for it to show up in brick-and-mortal LG stores!

Faster shipping is not worth the extra money, at least in Michigan. Bought it on Monday, said it would ship by Thursday, but it shipped Tuesday (Two days early) and arrived Wed with standard shipping from Kentucky.

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

On the other hand, I chose ground shipping for new GPE devices, and while those who used fast shipping already got theirs yesterday, I'm still waiting and will wait for several more days. It depends on the situation.

  • Nikolay Chakrakchiev

How "unlockable" is the Nexus 5s'
    "* Unlockable bootloader"
P.S. Never mind. Just a rhetorical question.

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

Fully unlockable? As in not ununlockable.

  • Scott

Do the GPE phones all have unlockable bootloaders as well?

    • charles anderson

      yes

  • Dehaha1

I wonder if that means someone will be getting my baby, I feel so bad for sending her back...

  • Michael Lee Bowie

Eh, I don't care. 32gb White for me is the way to go. I'm probably the only werido who likes the white speaker accenting the face of the phone...

  • Matthew

Phone screen size is smaller due to annoying batr at bottom of screen
