The Nexus 10 might be a year old, but it's still a formidable tablet with an amazing screen. Google is still selling the 32GB Nexus 10 for $499, which seems a bit steep. Tech Woot is offering the same device as a refurbished unit for a mere $279.

The Nexus 10 has a 2560x1600 10.055-inch LCD, a dual-core Exynos 5 ARM chip, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage in this model. This is a refurbished unit, meaning it was sent back to Samsung and certified in like-new condition (possibly after some repairs). Shipping is standard USPS, but it's only $5. It also has a 90-day warranty.

This is part of Tech Woot's Tableta Rasa event, so it's not a single-day deal like most of Woot's sales. This device is available for three more days, or until it's sold out. So, you know... get on it.

I smell a new N10 coming soon. Seems to follow the pattern of selling off the old model cheap to get rid of stock.

Google hasn't changed the retail price, though. This is a refurb from a third-party. The N4 went on sale in the Play Store before the N5 announcement.

The 16gb has not been in dock for a really long time now. That does add some credence, doesn't it?

Amazon has them new for $400.

    Still too expensive.

What are you talking about?! In most countries even the Nexus 7 cost 400$! This is extremely cheap!

Nexus 10 sucks. That's why it's too expensive. $20 is too expensive for this garbage.

So Google got rid of the two-pane layout in the Settings app, going against their own tablet design guidelines. Do you think this means they are moving away from 10" tablets completely? What a shame. 3 1/2 years into the iPad, and Google is still a non-starter in the full-size tablet space.

I can't believe these aren't sold out, Nexus 10 has been one of the best devices I've had the pleasure of owning and at this price I can't fathom how they aren't gone yet.

It keeps telling me that they are in stock, but I can't get the cart to accept my order, even tho' it's yellow and says to just click on the cart. ??????
