After dropping the Xperia Z1 for T-Mobile on us this morning, @evleaks has revealed another upcoming Android handset headed to a US carrier near you; namely, the Galaxy S4 Mini for Verizon.

Now, I'm not entirely sure we can be 100% positive this is for Verizon, but oh wait, the home button has a not at all conspicuous Verizon logo! I could never have figured it out otherwise. I guess we'll have to thank Verizon's product marketing team for that subtle branding exercise, which first debuted to the excitement of exactly no one on the carrier's version of the Note II last year. It seems the backlash was not to Samsung's liking, though, as neither the Verizon Galaxy S4 nor the Note 3 are tainted in this fashion.
Perhaps the treatment is now being reserved for low and mid-range devices, as a sort of "mark of shame." Or maybe Samsung just doesn't really care. Either way, it seems all but certain that the S4 Mini is headed to Verizon soon enough, albeit nearly 5 months after the device was actually announced.
