Hola, amigos! Hoy es un gran dia para ti!* You know why? Because Google Play Music and All Access are now available in Mexico! That means all the tunes Google has to offer, alongside its all you can stream music service, are at your disposal.

1 2

For MX$79 a month, you can sign up to stream unlimited amounts of tunes directly to your PC, phone, or tablet. That includes all of your local music, as well – simply upload it to Google's servers and it'll automatically be populated in Play Music. That's great for artists Google may not yet have.

Anyway, enough of my babble. It's time to rock.

Why countries like Costa Rica can't get this goodies? ):

    • Ricardo

Google doesn't care enough about us.

      Saludos desde Guatemala.

  • Edward Germanotta

Espero que Google empiece a expandir sus productos por Latinoamerica... Entre esos vender los nexus aqui (Colombia). En cuanto a Google Play Music, lo uso con mi cuenta "americana" XD

  • Trent Callahan

Que bueno! Really glad that Google is focusing on making its products more "globa." Not everyone lives in America, sorry Google. :P

    • http://www.thatgamerhub.com/author/moofey Adam Advocaat

Global to Google = Everywhere but Canada.

      • Edward Germanotta

Global to Google = Everywhere but Canada and LatinAmerica*

        • http://GPlus.to/Abhisshack Abhisshack

          and India

          • Peters

            And Germany

          • Roh_Mish

They had an google music service (kind of test) where you can buy music even play music beta and was closed due to price issues and music took months to arrive there. I dont think google music would be comming soon. But again recently all my google play music (cloud drive) request started getting routed to google India servers insted of US. So i think it is comming soon.

          • Ricardo

At least you guys can buy nexus devices there. You're not that unlucky.

        • Zapata

          And Poland

  • Alexander Burr

    Canada?

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

The next 10 music availability posts: nope.

      • BillygotTalent

        Same in Germany I guess

    • http://GPlus.to/Abhisshack Abhisshack

      when in India ?

      • KrisDiss

        when indeed..!

        • Roh_Mish

This and/or apple iRadio (I have an ipad which i mostly use for things like gaming and 7+ inch tablet neeeds (rarely) ) Mipl make me stop pirating songs which are still not available ore overpriced like hell.

      • Matt McKee

        Sooner than Canada, probably.

    • JonnyBoy6

PepitoMalaSuerte moves from Mexico to the "developed" nation of Canada...

Cons: he pays more for mobile data, his home ISP has a data cap and doesn't offer fiber, and now he's missing out on Google Play :'-(

      Pros: maple syrup?

      • Floss

        Not getting shot?

Wonder if the acceleration of roll out of All-Access is signalling the soon release of Google Music for iOS?

    • Roh_Mish

Google play apps on iOS (play book) is crap. Compared to other apps.

  • Thomas Ramsay

When will Google Play Music come to Canada?

    • http://www.thatgamerhub.com/author/moofey Adam Advocaat

Probably never, like every streaming service and like most of Google's products.

      • selonmoi

Rdio is a streaming service that had long been available in Canada. I believe Microsoft's is, too.

Most of Google's products are available in Canada. I can only think of a handful that aren't: Play Music, Play TV, Voice, and Wallet.

        • Roh_Mish

Voice and wallet services(outside of play and other google services) is still just in US. So is play TV (we still have only movies in india. No tv) and play music is rolling out now. I wish play

  • jdsmx

MX$79 for those who sign up before Nov 18, after that is going to be MX$99.
Just like they did here in the US with the promotional $7.99

And you also get 30 days of trial

  • The_Chlero

    Tryin to acces:

El reproductor de música de Google Play está disponible actualmente en determinados territorios.

    Translate:

"The Google Play music player is currently available in select territories."

So it appears that the service is not fully up or is partially down. See it as you wish.

    • MeCampbell30

It's not working here in NYC either. I think you crashed my Google Music.

  • http://k3rnel.net Juan Rodriguez

As a Mexican that kept whining about no Mexican All Play Music Google Access or whatever it's called... Guess it's time to put my money where my mouth is and buy this =P

  • Ivan

YEAHHH... Whole world has Google music.. In Bulgaria it's just a dream.. Thank you Google and f*ck you! :-)

    • Jsilvermist

      Same for CANADA!!! OMGWTFGAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I gain a bit of distaste for Google every time I see them release it for more places and completely ignore Canada.

      • selonmoi

They're not ignoring Canada. They just haven't been able to get the deals don't yet. I'm sure they're working on it.

Rolling this out globally isn't easy. You have to negotiate separate deals, with separate organizations under different licensing regimes, in each geography.

I wish Google would be more aggressive, but it'll come eventually.

        • Jsilvermist

Lets talk again in 10 years.

        • Jeremy Janzen

Well it's a poor business move by Google. In the meantime, Rdio is entrenching themselves - and Apple is about to launch iTunes Radio. The companies that are not aggressive will get left behind.

Google will have no one to blame but themselves if All-Access doesn't succeed in Canada - if it does eventually come here.

          • selonmoi

100% agree. It doesn't seem smart to me to be so sluggish in their approach.

I just don't think they have a hate-on for Canada or have forgotten that we exist.

          • Jeremy Janzen

Yes, I don't think it's hate at all. But regardless it's pretty obvious that Canada is not a top priority for them. Which is a big mistake - especially with Blackberry imploding right now, Canada is a mobile market in transition and ripe for the picking.

    • rod_z

Brazil is right there with you!

      • http://GPlus.to/Abhisshack Abhisshack

        So does India :(

      • xytherion

The feels. We could feel it too in the Philippines.

    • nebula

      and Germany...

  • Canada

We don't have Play Music or Voice. Sigh...

  • scaarg

    ¡VICTORIA!

  • http://virkings.es.tl/ VirKings

Venezuela algún día en Bolívares... si claro...

  • http://twitter.com/Rodrigost23 Rodrigo Tavares

I hope it means it's coming to Brazil soon, as promised more than a year ago (I guess)

    • Dick

      No, it doesnt mean that.

  • John Bailey

It appears that Google Play Music All Access is down..... I can't listen to anything! This is the 2nd time this has happened this month! Come on, El Goog!

  • Owen Finn

The stated reason about it not coming to Canada is likely untrue - just like they said it was the CRTC blocking Voice, which was proven to be a lie.

  • http://www.microwav3d.com/ Mihir Garikiparithi

As long as Harper is in power, nothing good will come to canada. It's not that he stops it, but why would anything good want to come to a place led by a monkey?

  • Luis Augusto Fretes Cuevas

Oh... should I go with this instead of Spotify? Decisions, decisions. Spotify provides an API and I like to use Tomahawk... mmmmm.... mmmmmm....

  • Jaime

Jajaja Thank you Cameron! I give you points for trying. Gracias!

  • Casin

Just saying, the first sentence should say para Uds. because amigos is plural. Otherwise, great news.

  • papernick

Different subjects on that first phrase, Cameron.

Hola, amigos! Hoy es un gran dia para ti!

    Should be:

¡Hola, amigos! ¡Hoy es un gran día para USTEDES!

    or

¡Hola, AMIGO! ¡Hoy es un gran día para tí!

    • Jachym Kokesh Lukes

      gramática nazi

      • Trent Callahan

LOL. I know Spanish but I didn't want to call him out. You made me smile, thank you sir. I needed that(:
