We already know T-Mobile is planning to release the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear on October 2nd. If you just can't wait to make your intentions known, you only have to wait until September 18th. That's when preorders for the Note 3 go live on T-Mobile's site.

T-Mobile doesn't do subsidies anymore, instead preferring payment plans. However, the Note 3 is still going to take a bite out of your bank account. The device will be $199 down, and an additional $21 per month for 24 months. That works out to a little over $700 for the device when all is said and done. T-Mobile isn't saying if the Galaxy Gear will be part of the preorder frenzy on Wednesday, but it will cost $299.

The Note 3 will be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM, a 3200mAh battery, and a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen. It also has faux leather on the back, if that's your thing.

Want! Can't wait to leave Sprint's crappy service and HTC's half-assed EVO LTE (which they just confirmed won't be getting the HTC One X's updates)

    • UniBroW

I'm leaving Sprint too (contract ends November 30th). So done with their half cracked network.

Seems like there's a flood of people saying they're ditching Sprint and ATT for T-Mobile lately. There next earnings report on Oct 29th should be interesting.

Every time I see a photo of the faux leather backplate, I dislike it even more. At least Samsung was smart enough to avoid such tackiness on the front.

I really hate the leather back, but I think the front looks damn sexy. Nothing a custom backplate from Ebay won't fix.

      • flosserelli

Yeah, I hope vendors are already working on alternative backplates.

Awesome, hopefully they don't push the date back

There is no 16GB version, so... you don't get to pass.

    • Babs Oyed

      The base model is 32gb

Can you also preorder if you're going to buy the phone outright on pre-paid, or, do you have to be post-paid?

  • Therootness

Here's to hoping the 64GB version won't be an AT&T exclusive.

  • Babs Oyed

I'll be one of the first to pre order mine. Will just pay full price upfront. Hope they have the 64gb version available
