School's about to start, and nothing goes with that new backpack quite like a Galaxy S4 rocking a dazzling shade of purple. No longer will Sprint customers have to sacrifice power and functionality for the sake of fashion. Especially considering that the Moto X's customization will initially only be available to AT&T customers, the Purple Mirage Galaxy S4 is about as vibrant an option as a Sprint customer looking for a high-end phone is going to have anytime soon.

The phone is available today in stores, but it won't be available online for a couple of days. Eager customers can turn to the Sprint website come August 16th. It will cost the same as the previous two colors currently offered from Sprint, Black Mist and White Frost, so expect to pay $199.99 with a two-year contract. You'll be getting a gorgeous 5-inch display, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor, a 13MP rear-facing camera, and an abundance of features exclusive to Samsung's flagship device. That's right, it's the same great phone, just more fabulous.

Just in time for school, Samsung Galaxy S 4 from Sprint is available in a new color – Purple Mirage. College and professional sports fans can also honor their favorite teams with a Galaxy S 4 that matches their team’s colors.

Galaxy S 4 is available from Sprint in three colors: Black Mist, White Frost and the beautiful Purple Mirage, for $199.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement. It is available in SprintStore and Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) now. It will be available through Sprint Web Sales on Friday, Aug. 16.

The award-winning Galaxy S 4 is powered by Android™ 4.2.2, Jelly Bean, and boasts a brilliant 5-inch full HD Super AMOLED™ touchscreen, 1.9GHz quad-core processor and access to the Sprint 4G LTE network. It also offers Multi Window, which allows the use of two apps side-by-side.

Galaxy S 4 features dual cameras: a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera with a Dual Camera function that allows simultaneous use of both cameras.
