That noted leaker of phones, @evleaks has just posted what appears to be the LG G2 in all its glory. We've seen the device show up a number of times before, but this press shot is the first time the final product has been so clearly visible.

The device matches previous leaks quite well with the strange up and down arrows on the rear of the device, and a very minimal front bezel. No speakers are evident in the press image, so presumably the bottom-firing speakers from the leak are still on. On-screen buttons are also an apparent go.

The device is expected to have a Snapdragon 800 chip and a 1080p LCD screen (possibly a very thin one). We'll have to wait for tomorrow to get all the details, but the render sure looks pretty.

Update: Here's a seconds shot, head on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this phone has the smallest overall bezels (especially top/bottom) of any phone. Also like the sleekness without buttons on the sides. Wonder where the power button is?

If they make this into a Nexus 5, or offer a Google Play Edition, I think this will be the phone to beat. Gorgeous design, on-screen buttons, Snapdragon 800.

    • Phill_S

Power button is almost certainly the silver part of the volume rocker on the back

      • http://www.ScienceProUSA.com SciencePro

        Agree. makes sense.

I think this button positioning can be a plus. Reaching for power buttons on some phones can get pretty awkward, this should be within easy reach.

        • Justin Swanson

I think the back buttons will be met with the same concerns that physical buttons do. Every post will have, "they're great" and "they're terrible" probably voted to the top.

          • Joseph Cascio

I imagine it's easy to hit while in the pocket. Which means unnecessary wake-ups and less deep sleep. Maybe negative impact on battery. BUT I can see myself being completely wrong. Let's hope for the latter.

          • GazaIan

Volume keys don't usually wake up the phone unless you set them to.

          • Joseph Cascio

Uh the power button is on the back too. And from the looks of it, it's slightly raised.

          • GazaIan

Oh... well fuck. That's gonna suck.

          • Di Lu

My biggest concern with the buttons on the back is that they are completely unreachable when the phone sits on a car mount.

  • Kevin

And Verizon won't be named as a carrier on which said phone is available.

    • Barnassey

Yup crappy spec phones at high prices.

    • turdbogls

pretty sure i saw that verizon is on board with this phone. could be wrong, but I though i saw that somewhere.

  • disqus_0DvjPGmqim

    Dat screen

  • MrAdeio

Wow, it's beautiful. I would love a Nexus variant.

    • Andrew

I concur... God knows LG wont support it.

  • http://news.netapex.org NetApex

When the screen is facing us, check the top right back and you can see a little hole.... where the stylus goes?

    • Justin Swanson

No that's for a DMB antenna. It's probably the Korea-Only variant of the device.

It's legacy feature from feature phones so you can watch TV... where ever you go...

    • http://turbofool.com Jarrett Lennon Kaufman

What stylus? Who said anything about a stylus?

      • Justin Swanson

No stylus, see my post below... it's a DMB antenna

  • Matthew

Seeing this phone makes me even more upset at the Moto X which could have been a sure fire winner if priced right. I imagine the Moto X and this new LG device off contract will be similar in pricing and LG seems by the looks of it to have a clear winner... altho I do detest the back buttons but maybe that won't be sooo bad >.<

    • disqus_0DvjPGmqim

Yea those buttons on the back are awkward for me.

    • Chris

These where my exact thoughts. Down to the back buttons. I really hope these aren't the volume up and volume down buttons :(

Otherwise, this phone looks freaking sexy.

      • Justin Swanson

I love the look, and I'll remain cautiously optimistic of the back buttons. They could be an interesting feature... or they could be terrible. I am hoping that (due to a 5.2in screen size) they'll assist in a 'one-hand mode' of sorts.

        • Chris

That is very true. We will have to see tomorrow! If this phone pans out to be the break box winner, this could be a terrible day for Motorola - especially if the prices are the same.

          • Justin Swanson

Yeah, I am really hoping that the next Nexus is based from these specs. It looks pretty freaking awesome.

      • http://turbofool.com Jarrett Lennon Kaufman

We already know they're the volume up and down buttons. That's been well-known for some time now.

    • CoreRooted

I'm on the fence about the back buttons also. I'm waiting to see if someone is going to say that putting it in their jeans pocket causes it to turn on.

      • Phill_S

Shouldnt be any worse than the Samsung home button, which never activates for me with the screen facing outward unless something specifically hits the right spot.

  • adi19956

Is that a lens cover?! Yes, this does look like a good idea.

    • ImSteevin

Possibly, but I kind of doubt it as the lower part is squared off but the camera top is rounded, if it were a lens cover they would probably have similar shapes to match when closed. This is more likely a rocker used for something.

    • Merri Mogridge

That's the volume rocker I think.

    • Michael Harrison

It's the volume and power buttons, not a lens cover.

    • http://turbofool.com Jarrett Lennon Kaufman

No. The article clearly states what it is: volume and power buttons.

      • adi19956

I understand that I was wrong, but the article actually says "strange up and down arrows on the rear of the device"

        • http://turbofool.com Jarrett Lennon Kaufman

You're right. I added my own knowledge from their own previous articles when I read it and assumed it said the same thing they've said before. They're referring to them as strange, because they are, but you're right, they failed to say once again what they're known to do.

    • adi19956

Yes I see now, cheers guys

  • Tony Nedumgo

    Looks amazing

  • Sean Royce

Damn, this device looks amazing. Can't wait to see what's in store from LG.

  • http://turbofool.com Jarrett Lennon Kaufman

This better be the basis for the next Nexus. Or, barring that, I'll settle for a Google Edition of it.

  • Dee

    yes loving it

i have the HTC one - also wanted bigger phone had the gnote but was just too big for me.
HTC max appeals but its way too big

    5`2 is perfect for me...

  • Martin

Are you blind? Can't you see the backg pic volume buttons? :-)

  • Scott Hendry

some are saying that's the volume rocker on the back. from an ergonomics perspective, that's brilliant. from an aesthetics perspective, that's crap.

    • Matthew Fry

It'd be kinda cool to have a scroll wheel or scroll button....

      • ElfirBFG

You could get the Atrix's fingerprint reader to do that; it really was a great feature.

    • TY

I prefer that the volume rocker and wake button to be on opposite sides. Custom roms make all of them wake buttons, and I find it very convenient. Moreover, this allows quick capture of the screen with one hand.
Also, it's true that the looks isn't any good. Too many stuff on the back.

    • portalpirate

Am I the only one who thinks that's a horrible idea? I for one hold my phone with my hand gripping the lower half of the phone. When I want to change volume or hit the power button I use my thumb or my other hand. Here, not only can I use neither comfortably, but I would have to move my hand up just to reach the buttons.

    • Poivre

      That's obviously the lens cap.....

      • Sean Lumly

It's more than likely not. Look at the shape, and then consider sliding it. It wouldn't fit along the top edge. This is likely for volume and on off, and I rather love the design -- it should eliminate mistake volume presses.

  • PhineasJW

Great! Now let's get start some Nexus 5 leaks!

  • Matthew Fry

It does look like a pretty tiny bezel.

  • Tommy Sanders

I hope sprint will pick this phone up. This phone looks great

  • Tommy Sanders

Well maybe sprint lg optimus g will get a update soon after this phone goes on sale too the public.

  • TY

The wake/lock button on the back acts as a notification light, too, like the home buttons of recent phones from LG.

  • TY

The extra .2inches is for those perssimists who keep complaining how the on-screen buttons "take up screen space". Now LG can advertise the phone as a 5-inch phone which can turn into 5.2-inches when playing videos.

  • ehTuBrutus

something weird with that front view picture...look at the right hand edge...it's like there are 2 super thin phones, one in front of the other???? They did say it was so thin that the could not put buttons on the sides did they not?

  • KrisDiss

    Loving the bezel on this.

  • Alexandru Florin

What makes me exciting is that on the picture of the front of phone you can see a pretty good focus..i hope this thing has a good camera. Before this phone i wanted to buy lumia 1020 but this is just too beautiful. I need a good camera on the phone

Nope this screen is also 5inch but looks bigger then the other screens n your link ;)
So it's the smallest of the three, the phones their displayes should be aligned to make a good comparisation.

      • Mohammed Saleh

LG G2 has 5.2 inch screen, nearly 2mm wider and 1mm taller than GS4

  • Vladimir

    That's a lens cover.

  • roberthenderson

I hate the look of your home screen buttons layered on top of your back menu and home buttons. I'll see if anybody comes out with a new design at some point in time, but until that time unless somebody is smart enough to offer a wave launcher or pie control type of on screen button I'll be passing.

  • http://www.twitter.com/Genjinaro Genjinaro

The bezel demon has been slain here, now this phone would do well with onscreen buttons.
