Is the new Nexus 7 not doing it for you? No wonder: you want a manly man's tablet! For men! (And also women who appreciate high resolution and fast processors.) 1080P? That's like a baby's toy! 7-inch screen? You laugh with scorn! If you're busting with all this technological machismo and a burning desire to save money, eBay's got you covered: the Nexus 10's 32GB model is currently on sale for $399.99, matching the 16GB model after a $100 discount off the retail price.

This isn't a refurbished or factory recertified model, as is often the case with eBay Daily Deals. Nope, this is the same brand new version you can order from the Google Play Store at considerably greater expense. As usual with eBay Daily Deals, shipping is free, and there are no sales taxes unless you live near the seller (New York and New Jersey in this case). Faster shipping is available if you want to spend a bit more. If you want to take advantage of this price, buy sooner rather than later: the deal's over when inventory is gone.

A word of warning: the seller for this particular deal has cultivated a particularly poor reputation on eBay and beyond. While most buyers from DailySteals seem to complete their orders without incident, a small but significant amount report both horrible shipping times and almost non-existent customer service. This being the case, it might be best to wait for a sale from another source. Just a heads-up.

Looking at the difference between the 7 and the 7 refresh, I'd say wait man.

    • Nick

Definitely wait. There is a reason they're selling off their inventory... The refresh isn't far off! I'm pretty excited to see what a refreshed 10 will be packing. I am hoping for LTE radios.

It is not a quad-core processor

Ah, you're correct. That's the Mali GPU.

I order from DailySteals a lot, they are always reliable as far as you will get what you ordered.....but its a complete crap shoot as to when you will get it, they never send shipping info out either.

Wish there was a 16GB for $299 or even $349, that I'd jump on.

The Nexus 10 still seems to have the best specs and be the best value of any large Android tablet but with the possibility of a new one in a few months I'm slightly hesitant to jump in. That, and I will have to see if 4.3 on my Nexus 7 causes me to even use a tablet in my day to day.

That, and will someone please explain to me how you are supposed to watch videos on a large tablet like this while lying in bed?

It is indeed still quite a beast. I can't even imagine what the refresh will be like.

But my guess is it will come out in time for the holidays. At which point there will be another even better tablet 6 months out.

Attach a good case or keyboard dock to rest

    Doesn't sell to Canada... :'(

I came across this when I Googled Nexus 10 under news. I can't wait for the next generation to come out, and I don't see much of a point buying this one now. Then again, screen resolution is most important (to me at least) and that probably won't improve in the next gen.
