At this point, there's essentially nothing we don't know about the Moto X. We've seen the specs and benchmarks. Taken a look at the camera app. Toyed around with all the cool new features. Watched how it's going to be passively listening to everything you say.

There really isn't much for Moto to tell us on August 1st, save for the price.

Now, @evleaks has published the final set of press shots for both the black and white versions of the device:

1

Gotta admit – that white one is pretty dang sexy. Anyone still interested in picking this guy up if the price is right?

It's cool and all that Moto's trying to show off where the phone is made, but isn't that wallpaper a little too busy? I find the contrast (or lack thereof) with the icons and text on the screen to be awful for a press shot.

    • Gaurav Chandiramani

absolutely, the wallpaper is awful for a press shot.

    • TY

The wallpaper is so blurry that I believe it is just a placeholder.

    • ddpacino

My eyes are focused on those curves...

        • Baleeted

The worst thing about that image is that I only spotted the boat after I read the caption.

          • http://tinyroar.com Cats-R-Friend

            Where is the caption?

          • Billy

            Where is the boat??

          • Guest

            What boat? What caption?

        • Marsg

Still don't see a boat but DAT ass though

  • taxi333

I'm very excited about this phone but for the love of God, I need a 32GB version

  • R I

I don't know if any of you guys saw, but Taylor Wimberly has put up what seem to be images from presentations slides that show that The X has a laminated aluminum frame, MIMO dual dedicated LTE antennas in addition to 2G/3G antennas, and something called Moto Magic Glass which creates zero gap between the Gorilla glass screen, the sides and the back.

Those seem new, not previously leaked, if they're true.

  • TY

The white one somehow reminds me of a golf ball.

    • Marsg

Probably because of the texture on the back

  • David

I like it, it would likely be my next device if it wasn't a Rogers exclusive in Canada. I suppose I'll wait for the next Nexus phone.

    • ddpacino

      Buy off play store..?

      • miri

I'm not sure what place it has in the Play Store. It's neither a GE device nor a Nexus. Motorola's probably going to handle distribution on their own.

  • meh

so Sept. 25th release date then?

  • Joshua

If it has LTE, good battery life, and remains under $400 I will upgrade from a Nexus 4. If any of those are not true, I will keep my Nexus or switch to a different phone (likely a Play edition phone).

  • bondx99

It looks gorgeous and all but sadly wont be able to buy it...google has pulled off moto from India after acquisition blaming losses..Not a single ad anywhere not even on last page of newspaper of your devices and you cry of no market?..what do you expect people to dream of your devices? I had moto defy and what a device it was!! wish i could own moto again!..sad!!
    /rant

    • Frekko

True, moto is a solid company. My moto defy is still defying after numerous falls (150+ yes u heard it right) in last 2 and half years. Still love that baby. Did wash it 4 times in life time with soap. Solid Build phone

  • NateCress

I find it interesting that the "M" with a circle around it logo in the top left corner has gone missing. I'm guessing that means that it won't make it to the final product.

I also find it interesting that the background photo is an old fence with what looks like the Texas flag painted on it (Moto X made in Texas). It could be the american flag, but that would make sense as well. However, the thickness of the red line makes me think it must be the Texas flag.

    • Chris Taylor

It is the TX flag.. the M you you talk of was just on the prototype. If you look at all the leaks that went out showing it you will see they aren't all the same. The M is the same, but around the M was a circle made of dashes and lines. Depending who was using that device it had a different combination of dashes in the circle. This would allow a company to trace back photos if need be for leaks to know who leaked it. Just one of many things they are doing for security these days.. :)

  • Ark

Assuming it costs around $300, this is my next phone.

    • MeCampbell30

Yep, if it's $300 this will be a great way for me to give verizon a big FU as I'm still on thier grandfathered unlimited LTE plan.

    • shadowx360

Why? Nexus 4 is quad core and has higher performance specs (except maybe for graphics) and a nicer screen for the same price.

      • Ark

Better chip, better cameras, reportedly better battery life (though I'll wait on the first reviews to confirm this).

        I also hate glass backs.

      • Gandalf_Teh_Gray

        Verizon.... hence no Nexus 4.

  • impure

I like how the white one is also white on the front.

  • http://www.ronakg.com/ Ronak Gandhi

    That wallpaper .

  • jonathan3579

I am getting it. I know it's not "high-end" but something about this device is attracting me.

  • PhineasJW

    So, that CURVE.

Looks like the phone will rock like a baby crib if you press any of the lower buttons while it's lying "flat" on a table ...

    Hope I'm wrong.

    • https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=iWizard Bikram Agarwal

U don't press those buttons, you tap / touch 'em. But I get your point.

    • Cao Meo

It's a small tradeoff, and don't forget Moto will allow people to change something..

  • Alex Murphy

Am I only one that thinks everything HASN'T yet leaked? Leo Leporte on the TWiT network, who went to that special Moto X event, has said that there are very important thinks that haven't been exposed yet. The perfect, spaced timing of these leaks means to me that most of them have been planned by Moto itself. I wouldn't be surprised if there's still a trick or two up their sleeve.

    • Cao Meo

The camera and how buyers can design their own phones.

      • Alex Murphy

Yeah even features of those have been 'leaked' though. I think there's more contextual features still in store, according to how you're holding the phone, how fast your moving, etc.

  • Cao Meo

The most refreshing phone next to HTC One.

  • creator78

I do want one although I don't like the 16gb storage make it 32 since they don't want to include a SD card slot. I can deal with the 2200 mAh non-removable battery though.

  • Patrick Bateman

should I get this or the ultra maxx???

    .

  • Diaperboy17

    I'm in for a white one. I can't wait!

  • Elias

I have a N4. Nice phone, fast, beautiful, etc. But I'll never, ever, EVER buy another phone with 16gb of storage sans microsd. 32gb should be the absolute bare minimum on such scenario, with 64gb being the standard choice and 128gb optional.
Sure, cutting costs is paramount. Then get me a 16gb model WITH A FUCKING MICROSD SLOT FFS!!!

  • GragonV

very beautiful, except the curve on the back. What the hell is wrong with motorola, why must they try to make most of their recent phones look like a TV remote :|

  • https://play.google.com/store/search?q=kodiak+211 Google_Is_The_Higgs_Boson

I would like to get this... In black tho... I'm not to sure about the CPU in this guy... Is the S4 Pro better than say the GS3's dual core?

  • Ben J

I'm definitely interested. I've got an Atrix 2 and it feels like it's circling the drain. Can't wait for it to get here and have a decent Motorola on AT&T.
