If Android's stock lockscreen has become mundane and boring to you, then WidgetLocker – which comes from TeslaCoil Software, the creator of Nova Launcher – is one of the best replacement options on the Play Store. It recently received a somewhat significant update that brings a handful of new and useful features, like the ability to swipe left or right to access apps or the camera, respectively. That's not all TeslaCoil packed into this update, however:

Now it looks more like Nova

FINALLY! I've been waiting for an update. It's always felt like a Gingerbread-era app for me.

Haha same! This app has been gathering cyber-dust on my app-shelf. Finally looks like its worth a second try.

Me three - I've been waiting for a good update to this app, it just didn't seem quite modern/stable enough.

Well, that's all I needed to stop me from using the default lockscreen. Hated using it on my GS4, but the camera swipe was enough to keep me locked in. Not anymore.

Bezel Swipe is really nice. Been starting a number of frequently used apps directly from the lockscreen for a while now

Finally fixed the bug where when you were listening to audio via headphone and locked the screen the audio would reroute to the internal speaker. You had to pause audio and restart it after the screen was locked to have sound back in the headphones. Now that is fixed I have no issues running a stock TW rom, with this update and Nova launcher I can make my SGS3 perfect.

I just downloaded it, and I am loving it. Far superior to the stock GS3 lockscreen. Tesla always makes good apps!
