Recently, Samsung started offering a few perks to those who picked up a Note 8.0 or Galaxy Tab 3, which included either $10 or $25 in Play Store credit, three months of Hulu Plus, and a full year of access to Boingo Wi-fi access (available to new users only). As of now, the company has also extended this offer to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Student Edition (that's a mouthful) owners, and it mirrors the Tab 3's promo exactly:

  • $10 in Play Store Credit
  • 3 Month Hulu Plus Membership (new users only)
  • 12 Months of Boingo Wi-Fi Access (new users only)

To take advantage of this deal, you need only register your product with Samsung by following this link. The promo is available until September 30th, so if you plan on picking up one of the aforementioned devices in the next couple of months, you'll still be able grab it.

How about just make a desirable tablet instead? The specifications are kind of middle of the road, and the pricing is high for what you get, especially for the Galaxy Tab 8.0 3.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is pretty nice, though. Especially with the S-Pen, but I prefer my Nexus 7 and HP TouchPad.

Yeah, the specs are very disappointing. I expected better out of Samsung.

I really want a new Note 10.1 tablet. It's not like I don't absolutely love mine, but I could use something new.

I'd rather get this entirely in Google Play credit.

then why note2 was shown there?

  • WHO?

Hmmmm i rather have 100 extra gigs from Dropbox or Drive for a lifetime. If companies would like to separate themselves from the rest, they should give 100 gigs of cloud storage that never expires.

I hope they will for once release a high end Note tablet. Not interested in the uninspiring offerings they currently have. The most annoying thing is the inadequate 16gb of internal storage.

    That is pretty underwhelming
