The Google Play Store got its big overhaul this week, and it looks pretty nice. The lost features are a bit of a problem, but maybe a bunch of app sales will cheer you up. There are a ton of them today, including some stuff from Amazon.

So... that's a lot of stuff on sale. There's probably something in there of interest to you. We'll keep adding stuff as we find it, so check back later.

Not sure but I guess TurboFly HD was always $0.99 for me.

Btw EPOCH has a price drop.

Tiny Bang Story and Ice Rage are Amazon links and should be labeled (for consistency). Tiny Bang Story has never supported tablets and doesn't support my One. I emailed them asking to add compatibility.

Glowfly is good, but is often more hassle than it is worth (on Samsung devices) because of the bug that drops paid app defaults. Every time you reboot the device you have to reselect it as the messaging default. I've requested a few fixes and they've said they'd fix them but haven't.

Tiny Bang Story works fine on my Nexus 7 and B&N Nook Color (both on Android 4.2.2). Not sure why you don't think it doesn't support tablets.

Haven't seen if it works on my wife's HTC One yet. I'll have to check.

Doesn't work on my Touchpad and my Nexus 10. So maybe it doesn't support 10 inchers.

        • Simon Belmont

That might be it. I haven't tried it on my HP TouchPad yet.

I'll see if I can get it working later. No time now.

I hate having another store for Apps, especially where devs don't update their apps.

Thanks but I'm sticking with Play Store

I agree with only using the Play Store, but there are Play Store apps in here, so I'm confused by the comment.

from Games section, there's about 14 out of 21 are from Amazon Appstore!

I stopped using Amazon a year ago, because lack of updates(for apps from there), and the market app usually sucks battery.

Explain what kind of app would cost $15 this day and age.

I bought Tales of Illyria at it's $4.95 price (which was the early access version) and love it. I'm currently on my second play through, and planning on a third. They're also working on a sequel. It's from the same devs that made Legends Arcana, so if you're a fan of that, or looking for a good turn-based RPG, definitely check it out. It's easily worth the current $1.99 sale price.

Might consider that Scrubs game, I'm a big fan of the show, but the Play Store reviews are pretty mixed, so maybe I'm better off just watching my DVDs (and Blu-ray for season 8).
