If you have been keeping up with Amazon's Free App Of The Day, you've probably amassed a really big collection of pretty bad apps. In fact, since the launch of the Appstore in March 2011, only a couple dozen winners have graced the front page with a $0 price tag. Today we're lucky enough to see another one of those rare gems, 10000000 ("ten million"), for everybody to enjoy at no cost.

Why are we impressed by 10000000 going free for the day? Well, it has one of the highest ratings in the Play Store with 4.8 stars out of 5, and awards for Best Mobile Exclusive 2012 (Game Informer), Best Puzzle Game (5th Annual Best App Ever Awards), and Pocket Tactics Puzzle (GOTY 2012). Take a look at our coverage when the game launched on Android back in March for the regular ticket price of $1.99. If I still haven't convinced you to claim an excellent game at no cost, then there's really nothing else that can be done to help you. For everybody else, hit the link to grab this one before day's end.

I have played 9 hours on the Steam version and I still haven't got 10,000,000. It's a great game!

Wow this game is pretty difficult. At least for my puzzle abilities.

No more Amazon store games or apps for me. 80% of the time they stop working after a month or so (tied to an Amazon store upgrade typically) and regardless of how many times you log in to your Amazon account to reset billing or account information, they won't run any more. Even when resetting account settings does allow the app to run again - what a hassle!
Until they fix their app validation model, I've sworn off using them for app purchases.

      but it's free....

Never ran into that problem since Amazon Appstore debuted. Across many devices (tablets and phones) and ROMs, the apps always worked just fine.

Guess you've had a string of bad luck. Sorry to hear that.

Good try Amazon. I better spend 2$ then install your crappy appstore on my smartphone :P

Just bought in on Google Play, worth the 2 bucks not to install Amazon's appstore.

Came just to express similar sentiments. This is free only in that you are free to use it while connected to the Amazon online only DRM requirement.

It was free, I don't need an internet connection to play it. I don't think I have installed anything from the Amazon store (and I have installed loads from there) that has required me to be online to use it.

There's only ONE issue with these Amazon "deals".. They are not available everywhere. In Brazil it's impossible to get a single game through the Amazon app.

I tried from the Amazon App store in Canada but its not working. Oh well.

I have been using the Amazon Appstore along with the Play store on multiple devices since it was available in the UK and I have not had a single issue with it, not sure why people refuse to install it. Some of the free stuff each day is really good. I have had full blown apps and games and saved quite a bit. My daughter has a Nabi2 and I use the Amazon store on that as it does not have the Play store on it.

Some games are only available on Amazon, like Scribblenauts and they also have another promotion on at the moment 99c for more expensive apps.

Each to his own I guess.
