The Indie Gala is back for its third mobile release. Pay what you want for four Android games, and if you offer more than the average, you'll get your hands on five more. The average is currently under $4. At less than 50 cents per game, I've bought gum balls that were more expensive.

Handy sliders are situated at the bottom of the page that allow you to divide your payment between the developers, charity, and the Indie Gala folks themselves. The setup should be familiar to anyone who is accustomed to the Humble Bundle. The games include:

  • Chimpact ($0.99)
  • Trainz Simulator ($4.87)
  • 9th Dawn ($2.99)
  • Mystery Fourth Game
    • Bag It! ($1.99)
    • Great Big War Game ($2.99)
    • Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack ($0.99)
    • Slender Man! Chapter 1: Alone ($1.29)
    • Trainz Driver (0.99)
    • If you beat the average, you will also unlock two additional PC games in the 2nd week of the offer. 11 games for $4 sure sounds like a win to me.

Wait... this isn't coming from Humble Bundle? I'm asking because I never heard of Indie Gala until this article.

nope, separate, but similar. i bought a bundle from them a while ago though (as well as this one), and no complaints.

          • Metroview

Cool. I just bought from them as these bundle deals are always welcomed. I'll be keeping an eye on these guys too.

            • ChainsawCharlie

They have been running these bundles for ages now. Mostly for PC games, but got these occasional Android bundles as well.

I actually finally pulled the trigger on the pwyw bundle. I didn't beat the average yet since the only game in the higher tier i was interested in is Slenderman, and not sure that's worth the money (it's $1.29 on the play store currently as well).

slenderman is looking good on the screenshots

          • ChainsawCharlie

Does it? I usually like horror games, but think that every screenshot of a Slenderman game(s) (on PC and whatnot) is always way too dark. I understand the horror games need to be dark, but my aging eyes dont always agree with that.

U didn't watch the video! It isn't that dark, enough said!

How do updates work with these bundles?

        • Bassam

          I also want to know.

        • http://twitter.com/L33tMeister That’s me!

Ya, I'm wondering too. Is there an app or what, just like Humble Bundle?

        • Herman

Funny thing how many seen to question that.
Look at that image, on top.
If I'm not mistaken, there's something written about game updates.

Though I could be wrong ;)

Seems there's a few who didn't get your message.

You can lead a fool to knowledge, but you can't make him think.

this review isnt helpful, are there any good games in this package?

        • enomele

This isnt a review, Just a news story saying that indie gala has a new deal going. Your best chance of finding out if they are good is clicking the links that take you to the play store or going to metacritic or ign and see if they have anything on them there.

It looks like the only worth-while game is GBWG, which I already have. Definitely not on-par with the mobile Humble Bundles.

      • Max

At four dollars for 11 games, I had to buy it, but what's worthwhile?

        • l-sain

for me 9th Dawn RPG is the most worthed of all.
but you have to love classic pc rpg.

it also updated often, well, assuming it will get updates from this bundle.. :/
