GALAXY Note II Product Image_Key Visual

Last to the party as always, Verizon is finally pushing Android 4.1.2 to its version of the Galaxy Note II. This update also brings some Samsung enhancements like a proper version of multi-window, along with overall bug fixes and enhancements. Overall, it looks like a pretty good one for Big Red's note-taking behemoth.

That pretty much covers the gamut right there. Given that the support document was just updated, the new build should begin rolling out shortly, so keep an eye out for it.

Good GRIEF! What in the WORLD is their Problem? Why so SLOW? Even Sprint beat them by a LONG shot.

Simple comment: Get the OTA, Upload the OTA, and Share it with us devs. #done

    Other technical improvements:

Adjustable auto-brightness: control how bright you generally want the auto brightness to be. Simply turn on auto-brightness, and in the notification bar simply adjust the brightness bar.

Improvements to the keyboard: functions a bit more like Swiftkey, in that you can see what you're tracing as you trace it.

Wasn't there on my Verizon Galaxy Note 2. I could adjust the brightness, but not how bright or dim the auto got.

At least there are custom ROMS out there.

Another Verizon update!? They really are on quite a roll this year. It is actually impressive.

Doing the update now. I hope they increased the maximum brightness level for better outdoor visibility. This is something that should be minor but there is no work around for people that work outdoors in daylight!

Is anyone having issues with battery life?
I'm down to 32% and the phone has only been off the charger 5 hrs. I just used it to check emails this morning, nothing else

Does this update screw you, or fail to complete if you are rooted?....
