A few days ago, we saw an unlocked Galaxy S4 show up on the eBay Daily Deals site before promptly disappearing. Well, now it's back. The last time around, only about 200 of them were sold before they ran out, so if you really want to get in on this action, you'd better hurry.

$700 is a lot for a phone that has no 4g

    • sjmoore00

Depends on what you consider 4g. It says it has HSDPA, which is what some carriers pass off as 4g, but is really3.5g, or 3g+. It is also said to have LTE band 5, but that is not what some need in the US. I agree though, lot to pay for not all LTE.

      • Mike Reid

        But,... But,... Octa ! ;)

HSDPA is being deprecated by every carrier that uses it in favor of LTE.

Ordered one to the UK, thanks to the stock shortages here it's both faster and cheaper to get this one <_<

  • unr3al21

In the UK..... 699 plus 99 shipping = £515 ish plus Import tax = £623 i think i will pass.

    • http://williamjudd.com/ William Judd

Only £40 more to get it a week sooner, and to get the octa-core version instead of the quad-core? Definitely worthwhile!

      • unr3al21

I know that.... but i feel over 600 for a phone is just not worth it. I believe development will be less for that version too due to availability.

        • http://williamjudd.com/ William Judd

Yeah, that's a small worry - but I'll have awesome benchmark results! Yeah!

          • unr3al21

Haha you will indeed. The phone will be excellent no doubting that. Good luck.

IIRC the Octa-core version will be available to networks that don't have 4G, o2 for example. All their phones are unlocked no 4g.

How do these daily deal work??

Who would pay this much for a phone?

    • http://twitter.com/jokesyn8 Jokesy

People pay more for an iPhone in my country

  • RaptorOO7

So where is the 32GB & 64GB options. Those storage options are always listed in the tech specs BUT no where to be found online or otherwise. Deceptive business practices.

    $799, no thanks

  • dlee

Can this be used on T-Mobile's LTE network?
