I had a revelation last year: when it comes to my favorite superheroes, I'm a big fan of the "normal" guys who just have lots of money and gadgets. That's not to say that Wolverine, Thor, and the like aren't complete and total badasses, but there's just something to be said for millionaire philanthropists looking for a bit of vigilante justice.

For those who may be outside the super hero loop (way outside of it), I'm referring to Batman and Iron Man. While the former's newest movie trilogy has come to close, the latter has a new film hitting theaters in roughly a week (May 3). To celebrate the newest movie release of everyone's favorite snarky superhero, Gameloft has released the official game for the movie (right on time, I might add).

In this endless runner, you play the part of Tony Stark/Iron Man and have to save the world from four villains found in the comics: Crimson Dynamo, Ezekiel Stane, Living Laser, and M.O.D.O.K. Throughout the course of the game, you can research and develop a staggering 18 different suits, including the MARK II, MARK 42, and Silver Centurion.

The game is free in the store, though I'd probably expect a healthy dose of IAPs to help speed things along.

    • Matthew Fry

If you mean "not good enough to be official" then you haven't played too many licensed games.

i was trying to be politicaly correct, but that sums it right friend

Perhaps you mean this type of endless runner game can ruin Iron Man 3 public perception, so this game should never become official Iron Man 3 game at all.

I can agree on that as well. Developer should do better than this.

OMG 800 Mb for a runner game..

they could shrink it, I don't know why it's so heavy, graphics is not that good, backgroung is repeated and levels are limited

      • hoff

probably those locked suits and levels and bonus contents are included as well, so you don't have to download additional data after unlocked through iap..

Still better than that terrible PC "game" that was released with the first movie...

From looking at this clip, the Iron Man Game runs too fast. It looks like a great game, the graphics are pretty good, but put it at a level where more people can play it.
