Looks like EA is doing a little spring cleaning trying to clear the back stock of some older games, because it just dropped the price of Plants vs. Zombies and NBA JAM to a buck each. And just for the record, those are two of my absolute favorite games on Android. Both are requisite installs in my book.

So, whether you want to protect your house from zombies with plants that spit stuff, or play a game of two-on-two with some of your favorite players in the NBA, today's the day to make it happen for only a dollar each. Hit the widgets below to grab 'em.

They are all available from my "german" Android device.

And true: if you're looking for Plants vs. Zombies, go over to http://www.HumbleBundle.com and do GOOD :-)

I would only get plants vs zombies if it was 99 yen AND had the full content that the ios version has. Also, judging by the incompatibility problems frequently stated by marketplace reviewers, plus EA's infamous no returns or customer care complaints, I think I'll give this a miss.

Popcap's biggest mistake was signing up with EA.
