There are those among us who simply need more storage. Phones like the Nexus 4, which offers only 8 or 16GB of storage just don't provide enough space for some users, and for them there are phones with microSD slots. MicroSD cards, though, aren't cheap. If you've been looking for a card with a high capacity but not a high price, Amazon has a deal for you.

The retailer is offering up the SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-1 card (with adapter) for just $19.99. In recent memory, we haven't seen a better price on this card.

For those confused about what makes this a great microSD card (besides its 32GB capacity), it's class 10, meaning it's guaranteed to record video at at least 10MB/s, with promised data transfer speeds of up to 30MB/s. That's pretty snappy.

We're not sure exactly how long this deal will last, so if you want a big, fast card for one of the cheapest prices you're likely to find, hit the link below.

LoL, microSD slot on nexus 4? That's new to me!

    • http://AndroidPolice.com/ Liam Spradlin

*phones with. That could've been clearer initially.

    • http://www.facebook.com/chris.b.anderson Chris Anderson

Which is why he states that there are phones with MicroSD slots for those users who need more space than the Nexus 4 provides. So either Liam edited his post almost immediately, or you failed Proofreading 101. Either way, thanks for the heads-up, Liam.

      • http://AndroidPolice.com/ Liam Spradlin

No, he was right. As I said below I could've made it clearer. I did a very quick edit right after the post went up.

        • http://www.facebook.com/chris.b.anderson Chris Anderson

Then it looks like Gregor passed Proofreading 101 with an 'A'. LOL Good catch, Gregor. And Liam, thanks again for the info. Just got finished placing my order.

as Catherine answered I am startled that anyone can get paid $4522 in one month on the network.

but why mention Nexus 4 in the article if it cannot load this? am i missing something?

    *genuinely confused*

  • 12fusion

This was on sale as a deal of the day yesterday at best buy. Got 2 one for my s3 and one for my note 2. Good deal since 2 are less than one originally

    • http://www.androidpolice.com/ Artem Russakovskii

It indeed was, but the story was baking in our story tracker for too long until @LiamSpradlin:disqus got to it and expired. Oh well, Amazon's just as good, if not better.

      • 12fusion

I would have rather get them with Amazon since I have prime, best buy will probably take a week to get

        • http://www.facebook.com/chris.b.anderson Chris Anderson

I was just thinking the same thing, @12fusion:disqus. My Prime orders normally get here next business day even though it is supposed to be 2 day delivery. My Best Buy orders normally take about a week.

          • 12fusion

They say ships within 24 hours at best buy but they ship 3 days later then take forever while shipping. Ide cancel mine at best buy but I'm not allowed to return anything for 3 months after returning a galaxy tab 2

        • yankeesusa

They had them in my local store so the only difference was tax. Best buy might not be the best store but I still don't want them to go out of busines. As long as they continue price matching Amazon for me I have no problem paying sales tax and be able to get item locally without waiting for shipping.

  • GraveUypo

would buy 2 or 3 if they shipped it here.

  • Athishay

I don't know what's so special about this, it works out to about INR 1700 with shipping and the same card on Ebay India is about INR 1500 + 65 shipping, without discounts or deals.

Are we actually getting a better deal on electronics everyday than you are?

  • bazker

" cannot be shipped to the selected address."
WTF. Amazon don't do international shipping?

  • yankeesusa

Best buy had sane same one fors same price yesterday as one of theiDr dealthe the day. ooks like Amazon is paying atttion.

  • lordmerovingian

I'll avoid this card like the plague. Will die in a short time. There's something particularly wonky with this specific 32GB SKU/model.

    • Ryan O’Neill

I bought a 32GB one for $20 during an Amazon deal a couple months ago. It died after a month or two. Thankfully, SanDisk is replacing it for free (they're even paying for shipping). AWESOME customer support.

      • Alex P.

I will never buy one. So many people complain about dead cards. Mine died after a couple of months. Why should I need a replacement if it is the same crap?

      • http://twitter.com/misterE33 Mr E

That's great that they're replacing it, but losing data can be a real problem. I think I'll have to pass.

      • Ray

Same situation here. Can't say their support was awesome, though, just good.

      • lordmerovingian

When mine died, their CS was fine and great in replacing it, but all my data was gone within a month of ownership. They can keep replacing it but it speaks volumes about the quality if the card itself.

    • Matthew Fry

      Interesting- Mine died too.

    • http://profiles.google.com/joenisanov Joseph Nisanov

Mine died after 3 weeks. Thumbs down.

      • barnassey thomas

Mine died after 2 months of sitting in a phone doing nothing. Called sandisk and i gotta pay to send it in. no deal.

      • lordmerovingian

Mine too, within a month. They were great about replacing it but i've learnt my lesson.

    • http://profiles.google.com/fahadayaz Fahad Ayaz

How can you tell it's from the bad ones? What 32gb Sandisk card would you recommend instead?

      • lordmerovingian

I really don't know what's going on with this particular 32GB model/SKU. Odd thing is my 16GB Sandisk microSD i've had forever is just fine. I'd either go for Samsung or PNY or Kingston at this point, very decent brands. Cost more though.

  • Magnus100

Not interested in anything under 64gb.

  • Scott

I remember when I first got my evolved 3d I paid like 75 bucks for a class ten SD card. My, have the prices come down.

  • Falconator

Shows up as $27.29 for the 32gb. Still a great deal though...might pick one up. Thanks!

  • Ed Ellks

Just checked and it's $27.29 now.

  • Dan

You fell for it Liam. Amazon give you and all of the other blogs just enough time to write your "Deal Alert" articles and then they jacked the price up to $27.29 for the 32gb.

    • Matthew Fry

Meh. The deal sites had it yesterday.

  • http://j.mp/slayerXcore Josh K (SlayerXcore)

deal is gone fyi it's 27 now

  • Stacey

    People still use external storage?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000003999549 Mike Harris

I just can't wait for someone to create and start selling 128GB microSD cards. I really don't want to bother buying another card with less storage when I know they're right around the corner. (And yeah, I know you could always say this and keep waiting for more and more storage, but 128GB is already a microSDXC standard; we're just waiting for someone to make them.)

  • http://twitter.com/RicardoWateva Ricardo Kümmel

    US$27,25.. :(

I can never find the values you guys say on those deals.

  • Lalalala

I thought this post was going to be about how SanDisk Micro SD fails and dies when used on Galaxy Note 2.

    • Samsung Fanboy

and Galaxy Note, and Galaxy S3.

  • Laurencia7

Mine hasn't died but it gives me "blank sd" or "removed sd" card errors. I thought it was my crappy phone, but just changed the card and haven't gotten the message yet. I paid more than 20$ bucks for this. I'm pissed.

  • Utente Incazzato

found a new model online of this card which is faster.

Anyone has idea if it will have the same troubles???

  • dontpanicbobby

I want all my music with me all the time, even the christmas stuff. That's over 64GB right there. I want a phone that can handle a 128GB card when and if they come out.
