We love RSS. We also love DashClock. So when we heard about a new DC extension that marries the two, well, we had to check it out.

Appropriately named, DashClock RSS Viewer Extension brings your favorite newsfeed(s) to your lockscreen (or homescreen, if that's where you use DashClock) by displaying the five most recent topics. It actually couldn't be simpler.

The extension comes pre-loaded with several feeds from some of your favorite blogs (including AP, of course). Alternatively , you can manually set your own. Otherwise, the only other option is the title: choose long or short. Past that, it's just your feed. Simple, effective, and a great way to get the newest stories at a glance.

The extension is free, of course, so hit the widget to give it a shot.

Deer Reader does this as well.

Sorry, but how did you change the number of Homescreen Dock Icons to 6/7 on CyanogenMod?

I'm using NovaLauncher, which has that option.

Can I get some love for my severe weather alerts widget for dashclock? I know I charge in the play store (if that's a problem), but I like to a free apk there: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.katzmatt.dashclock.weatheralerts

You don't use Ad Block? What's your mobile browsing experience like? Whenever I go on websites on my GF's phone, I'm just astonished at how many ads there are.
