Machinarium was one of my personal favorite games from 2012, and I've wanted to replay it for months now. Unfortunately, the Nexus 7 is my primary gaming device, and Machinarium hasn't been available for it since its release. Finally, after months of waiting (and numerous attempts to contact Hothead Games), Machinarium is officially available on the Nexus 7 thanks to an update today.

That may not be the only new device added to the fold, though – Hothead didn't update the changelog, so it's hard to say what else the update brings along with it. Perhaps it adds more devices, or fixes some bugs. When the dev doesn't give us any details at all, it's really hard to say. One thing is certain, though: Nexus 7 owners who have been waiting to get their hands on this fantastic title will wait no more.

Good to know they added Nexus 7 support! It's next on my list from the Humble Bundle after I finish #sworcery !

Got this game in a Humble Bundle and I hadn't gotten around to playing it for a while but one day I decided to give it a whirl and hot dang, it's a great old school experience. I've since played it through both on PC and on my TF101 and I got to say this game is better on the tablet. Not that it was bad on the PC, but it really lends it's self to the touch controls.

The game its self is also well done, even though it's an old style of game the art and music are a long way from pixels and midi. The story is well portrayed even though there are no words to guide you. Most of all though the puzzles aren't as simple as you first think, many of them ask for counter-intuitive leaps and brute force logic. I was really surprised by how tough the puzzles ended up being, for such a short and simple game. Anyone who remembers the old puzzle adventure games in the 90's should pick this up for a great blast from the past.

LOVE point-and-click adventure games from way back. If you haven't played it already, do yourself a favor and get Broken Sword, available now on your local Android device: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.revolution.bs1dc

I'd love to hear of any other great point-n-clicks out there!

It says 1.6 added 720p and greater support for phones and tablets. Guess I'll look to try it on my Nexus 4... And hope the software buttons don't interfere on this game like they do on Towelfight 2. >:[

It was available on nexus 7 through humble bundle 4 (http://blog.humblebundle.com/post/35782746095/humble-bundle-for-android-4-turns-it-up-to-eleven) long before it hit playstore, as long as you payed more than the average amount (donation ware) Sure it stated that it might not be supported. but it was and played just fine.

With this update, Google Play is showing that it's available to be installed on my GNex too (in addition to the N7). I've been waiting a while for this day and will have to remember to grab it when I get home. Yay!
