Carbon for Twitter

Android Police coverage: [New App] Carbon For Twitter Is (Wait For It) Live In The Play Store Now

It's finally here: the highly-awaited (and teased) Twitter client Carbon. It's heavy on animations and somewhat light on features (like tablet support!), and initial response to Carbon is mixed. But it's certainly an adequate Twitter solution, and it comes in at the best price of all: free.

--

Carbon experience for Android Smartphones. No Tablet support yet. Simple, Dark, and a dash of elegance for your Twitter day-to-day pleasure. Carbon is a Twitter client, but unlike other Twitter clients. All of your Twitter content on one screen. A screen that doesn't get you drilling down to many other screens to reach to what you want. Timelines, Lists, Favourites, Searches, Trends, Profiles, all there.

Pebble

Android Police coverage: Pebble Smartwatch App Finds Its Way To The Play Store Just In Time For Initial Shipments To Arrive

If you're one of the lucky backers who's already received your Pebble smartwatch, you'll need this app to make it work properly. In addition to sending alerts for calls, texts, email, Google Talk, Google Voice, and Facebook, the app can send new apps and firmware updates directly to your Pebble. There seem to be some lingering issues with newer Samsung devices and their voice-activated components. Check out our review of the Pebble hardware.

--

Pebble connects to your Android device using Bluetooth, alerting you with a silent vibration to incoming calls, emails and messages. Republic Wi-Fi+

Android Police coverage: Republic Wireless Releases 'Wi-Fi+' App To The Play Store, Helps Customers Get Better Service

Republic's unique hybrid network relies on both traditional 3G service and WiFi to seamlessly provide calls and data. Their new app allows users of their customized Android phones to locate the best areas for WiFi signals. It encourages you to rely on WiFi rather than 3G, and allows for a quick connection via its homescreen widget.

--

The Republic Wi-Fi+ app is for republic wireless Defy customers only (Single and Dual Band). The app provides Devicescape functionality to improve your access to open hotspots. We have also added more rigorous checking of your Wi-Fi connection to determine whether or not your connection can support a Wi-Fi call. To give you more information on your republic account, we are providing 2 widgets.

NASCAR Mobile '13

Android Police coverage: NASCAR Mobile '13 Screeches Into The Play Store, Covered In Engine Grease And Logos

Racing season in America starts later this month, and that means just one thing: lots of ugly-looking cars driving around in circles. But if that's your thing, hey, more power to you. The official NASCAR 2013 app brings up-to-the-minute coverage of the stock racing scene, with schedules, highlights, and video. Subscribers get access to some genuinely cool extras like in-car audio and alternate camera angles.

--

Immerse yourself even further into the NASCAR experience with comprehensive driver information, race highlights and social media updates from NASCAR’s biggest stars.

Swapps! All Apps, Everywhere

Swapps is a lot like the popular app solution SwipePad, with a few UI tweaks. For one, you see every app, every time you swipe your finger from the side of the screen. There's also a recently used section, and a section for favorites. You can even kill background tasks. Too bad there's a constant ad - here's hoping for a paid version sometime soon.

--

Swapps! is the ultimate tool for multitasking on your android device. With a simple swipe action you can get to any other app you wish. Swapps! launcher is always there, when you play, read or listen, you can always swipe and switch to another app. Swapps! Active Panel is divided into 3 spaces: Starred - Your favorite apps will always be on top for quick access. Recent Used - the last recent applications that you used for quick switching between tasks. All Apps - Full app drawer!

GMD Speed Time (Lite) ★ root

GMD Speed Time is an app that allows you to kinda, sorta cheat at certain games. It puts a selected app into a digital time machine, allowing the game's clock to advance at faster than real time. The advance ratio goes up to 1000x. Keep in mind that this may break the EULA of certain games (especially if there are in-app purchases) and the app requires root.

--

Tired of waiting till your crops grow in your favorite farming game? Lack some gold to expand map? No more. Increase your farming speed with GMD Speed Time. I created this application for my daughter. This application increases time speed in farming games. It does so by increasing device clock speed. Device will be showing wrong time when you start service. Application will restore time when you stop service, but time may be inaccurate.Note that in video I increased speed of time x110, but lower values are supported too, like x2 or x3. At the moment max range is x1000.

CNBC Alarm Clock

A cable news station with its own alarm clock? It may be a better idea than it sounds. If you're in the habit of checking the financial news as soon as you wake up, CNBC's new alarm clock app will give you everything you need with your coffee. The alarms themselves are CNBC anchors declaring market conditions (useful if you're in a western timezone). Of course, you can also snooze if you want a few more minutes before jumping into your wingtips.

--

In the financial markets, time is money. Now you can wake up with the CNBC Alarm Clock app and get your business news bearing instantaneously. Choose your favorite CNBC anchor, and you’ll get the state of the S&P in their very own words as your alarm. Top News, TV segments you might have missed, and comprehensive market data all on your bedside table. You’ll also have the list of upcoming guests so you can set alerts to remind you when they’ll be on. Can’t turn the TV on fast enough in the morning? Now Becky Quick, Joe Kernen, or Andrew Ross Sorkin can let you know what’s going on from the get-go. If you need Jim Cramer screaming BUY BUY BUY to get you out of bed, that’s available too. Choose from over 17 CNBC personalities. With a simple swipe, you’ll access current top business news stories, top videos, and all the market data you need to capitalize on the day.

Mood O'Clock Alarm

I wake up every morning to Dolly Parton's "9 to 5". Of course, that's not really appropriate for weekends or holidays. Mood O'Clock attempts to rectify that situation. Different moods are created with a combination of music and light, to set you on the right mental path for the day. The tracks included in the app can be purchased on Amazon MP3.

--

Mood O'Clock is the alarm that lets you choose the morning mood you want to be woken up to and delivers an ideal soundtrack to the early moments of light, powered by Stereomood. Why setting just the alarm when you can set your mood too? Each mood not only comes with matching tunes, but also with an evocative image as background. Your mood will also be sharable and appear on Facebook... so your friends know how to deal with you.

SF Launcher Alpha

Another week, another homescreen replacement. But this one's actually pretty unique. SF launcher takes a lot of stylistic influence from Google Now, including the San Francisco header image. It's heavy on the app icons, so those of you who depend on widgets beyond a Google Music control will probably be looking for something more robust. Widgets and apps are separated into cards, not unlike Google Now.

--

This is an alpha of an alternate homescreen that is designed to be simplistic, yet beautiful and customizable. As it is alpha (though close to beta), it is still somewhat buggy and there are many more features that I would like to add in the future. The top section of the launcher is a header with the time, date, and a graphic of a the San Francisco skyline from Google Now. This image changes based on the time of day. You can configure at what times the images change from header settings. As of 0.1.4, you can now switch between San Francisco, London, and the Generic Google Now background. As of 0.2, there are configurable tap and long press options for the clock and the header image (Search, Voice Search, Clock, Toggle Status Bar, Toggle Theme, Expand Notifications, Expand Quick Settings).

HomeFlip

We come across homescreen launchers at a fairly dependable rate, but replacements for the app switch button are a little more rare. While this one doesn't add much functionality, it does allow for some interesting changes to the status quo. HomeFlip allows you to assign favorite apps and access them quickly, while still keeping the homescreen at your fingertips. Press Home once to access your recents and favorites, and twice to perform the default action.

--

Found yourself switching between the same applications all the time? HomeFlip get the job done quickly in a convenient way. No Ads and free forever. Instructions: Press Home button once to quickly switch between recent tasks. Swipe a task to the left to mark as favorite. Swipe a task to the right to mark as hidden. Press the hardware menu button or the right corner on-screen menu button to access actions and settings. Press Home button again to go back to the original launcher.

NFCSecure

Feeling a little anxious about your NFC-enabled smartphone? NFCSecure can lock out your device like a secondary lockscreen until a single tag is scanned, making it  a physical key instead of a digital PIN or password.

--

NFCSecure offers Android users a fast and easy way to protect their devices. By utilizing NFC technology, NFCSecure prevents access to any of the phone or tablet’s functions until an associated NFC tag is scanned. The app can be used in place of inconvenient PIN/Password unlocking or in combination with them to enable two-factor authentication. Stop walking around unprotected, and install NFCSecure today.

Features Include:
- Fast NFC unlock of Android devices
- Easily pair your device with multiple NFC tags
- Option to disable lockscreen widgets (Android 4.2+)
- Optional NFC lock delay (i.e. Require NFC scan every hour or every 3 times unlocked)
- Option to bypass NFC scan by typing Gmail credentials (i.e. for lost NFC tags)

Carbon - App Sync and Backup

Android Police coverage: Koush's 'Carbon' Backup App Exits Beta, Enters The Play Store

No, not that Carbon. Koushik "Koush" Dutta is a big name in the Android world, and his competitor to Titanium Backup is gaining steam. It allows for backups to your SD card, PC (with additional software), and the $5 premium version adds Dropbox, Box and Google Drive support. You'll need root to access all the features, and Motorola devices are unfortunately incompatible at present.

--

Carbon is the missing app sync and backup solution for Android. Carbon does NOT require root. All Android users can use Carbon to backup and sync Android applications. Carbon lets you backup your apps and data to your SD card or cloud storage. With Carbon, you can sync app data from your other Android devices-- even if they are not on the same network. Set up backup schedules with Carbon, and never lose data again.

Carbonite Currents

Android Police coverage: Carbonite Labs Releases Currents For Android, An Interesting Take On Cloud File Sync (Too Bad It's Broken)

Yup, another backup app, and this one will be useful to anyone who already pays for Carbonite's PC backup service. The app and the storage is free for everyone, but unfortunately, there's a bit of a limit on the syncing aspect. After 30 days with no changes, the files will be dropped from the cross-device syncing list. Also, only documents, video, music and photos will be synced - no other file types are sup-ported, even with unlimited storage.

--

This free productivity app from Carbonite functions as a global “recents” menu across all of your devices. Get instant access to whatever you’re currently working on, without needing to think ahead. Easily share documents, access previous file versions, collaborate and stay organized with Currents. Here’s how file syncing and sharing with the Currents app works:

  • Access: Keep working on your projects from any device. Access and edit your files on your desktop, laptop, phone, or tablet – wherever you have Currents installed.
  • Share: Currents also makes sharing a file with others easy. Share your file once and continue to work on it. You don’t need to worry about having to resend each time. Everyone will get the most recent version automatically.
  • Collaborate: Simple 1-to-1 collaboration in Currents lets two people edit the same file without emailing attachments back and forth.

Anycabs

UK readers, this one's for you. Compare prices for cabs in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, then book them when you're ready. You can book cabs in advance and even get quotes from different agencies. Who needs a car when you've got a phone?

--

Anycabs is a FREE price comparison and booking app for licensed minicabs in London, Manchester and Birmingham, with 10,000+ licensed minicabs on board. Get multiple real-time quotes for your journey within seconds by entering your journey details. Choose the quote you wish to accept and book your minicab instantly. Booking a minicab via the Anycabs app is faster and easier than calling the operators directly, which gives you a great selection of competitive quotes direct to your mobile or tablet device.

Tesla Model S Beta

Android Police coverage: [New App] As If It Wasn't Cool Enough: Tesla Model S Gets Its Own Android App

Got a Tesla S sitting in your garage? Then I hate you. In an envious way. If you're one of those lucky few, you'll want to download the official car app right away, to get remote access to your car's charge level, range, locks, climate control, and more fun stuff like the horn and sunroof.

--

The Tesla Model S Beta app puts Model S owners in direct communication with their cars anytime, anywhere. With this app, owners can:

  • Check charging progress in real time and start or stop charge
  • Heat or cool Model S before driving — even if it's in a garage
  • Locate Model S with directions or track its movement across a map
  • Flash lights or honk the horn to find Model S when parked
  • Vent or close the panoramic roof
  • Lock or unlock from afar

Wheresmytime

If you've found yourself wondering how much time you've wasted spent in fruitful economic pursuit at your job, compared to, say, the local park, then Wheresmytime is for you. It gives you a visual indication of where you spend your time... and where you don't. You won't need GPS to take advantage of the app - presumably it uses coarse localization via cell tower triangulation and/or WiFi to spare a little battery life.

--

Have you ever asked yourself: where did I spend my time last month? Check it with Wheresmytime app. Wheresmytime is a time tracking app, which runs in the background and records the time you spend in each location. Your time is then displayed on the map with the accuracy and the time period you choose. Your position is localised without GPS, therefore allowing for use in the buildings and reducing battery consumption. Requirements: Wireless localization, packet data, Wi-Fi.

Gogobot

Gogobot is not, unfortunately, an Inspector Gadget-themed social networking application. Instead, it's a directory of travel interest points, chosen and annotated by users from around the world. There's a heavy social element, and for some reason, a postcard option. It'll also allow you to keep a handy record of your travels.

--

Gogobot is a great way to discover the coolest places to go, anywhere in the world. Whether you're planning your next getaway or simply exploring your own city, Gogobot is the complete travel companion. Discover interesting places, explore destinations, plan and book your next trip, document your travels and share it all with your friends.

Ski Tracks

Need a way to keep track of your skiing adventure and stats? Ski Tracks would appear to be the best available. Not only does it keep track of your elevation, speed, angle, distance, and more, it does so without external data. It will continue to track during a phone call, and pays special attention to its battery drain - because there's no charging port on a ski lift.

--

The worlds most popular and downloaded Ski and Snowboard application on the iPhone is now available for Android phones. Take your Android phone Skiing and Snowboarding this season with the most professional tracking application on the market. Just press the record button and put your phone in your pocket to record your day.
• Battery Friendly with Battery Monitor - Records up to 20 hours.
• Tracks without the need for a cellular data or phone signal.
• Take/receive calls and text while tracking.
• Comprehensive Ski Stats and Profile Graphs.
• Maps with Roadmap, Hybrid, Satellite and Terrain modes.
• Maps Tools showing distance, time and stop watch.

Houzz Interior Design Ideas

Need a little inspiration for your renovation? Houzz is basically a Pinterest-style app dedicated to homes and interior design. A huge supply of houses and photos has given the iOS version quite a following. If only the developers had paid a little more attention to Android design guidelines when they ported their app over.

--

Called the "Wikipedia of interior and exterior design" by CNN, Houzz has the largest database of home design ideas on the net, with over 900,000 high resolution photos. Browse photos by style, room and location and save them to your virtual ideabook — it's the equivalent of clipping design magazines to a scrapbook — making ideas easier to search, save, and share. Experience Houzz.com as an Android app and save your photos locally for offline access. Join the discussion and get the community to help with your design dilemmas.

Pixt

Pixt is made for huge events, collecting hundreds or thousands of photos together into an online gallery. Sure, you can make your own galleries and share them with your friends, but that's nothing new. Submit your photos to the event's wall, and you can be part of something unique.

--

Pixt is a platform that lets people and companies share content and simultaneously collaborate in real time with their social world. Whether privately sharing good times with a small group of friends or crowd-sourcing historic events in real-time, individuals, groups, companies and global movements can publish to Pixt Walls to share experiences and start conversations in all directions. Pixt Walls can host text, photo, video or live-streaming content, be private or public, are intuitively and simultaneously customizable by all participants and can be embedded in Web pages, including popular social media sites.

Whip - best social photo album

This sort of annotated album has been included in various manufacturer skins for a while. Whip allows you to build albums, annotate them, apply templates, and share via Facebook, Twitter, or email. Not terribly useful, since you can do the same with Facebook or Picassa, but the interface is well-suited to mobile.

--

View, create and share beautiful social photo albums in minutes. Whip is the new FREE way to bring your adventures to life in a social album featuring photos, music, and text. Whether you want to share your Super Bowl photos, your Valentine's Day date, Holiday event or latest travel adventure - get tons of raves on Facebook and Twitter with your photo album. • Share your Whip on Twitter, Facebook or via email
• Real album experience - auto-play Whips for a slideshow or swipe to flip the pages at your own pace, magazine- style

Foursquare for Business

Android Police coverage: [New App] Foursquare For Business Checks Into The Play Store To Attract Customers On The Go

Most of you won't have a need for this particular app, but if you own or manage a small business, the ability to administer your Foursquare account from anywhere is pretty handy. The business app allows businesses to interact with customers, see stats, and offer special promotions without ever having to boot up a PC.

--

Evzdrop

Update: Our previous description indicated that Evzdrop allowed users to make audio recordings. This is not the case - Evzdrop is a textual service only.

--

Evzdrop allows you to listen to places through people. Be informed and entertained in real-time through the exclusive voice of people that are at places of interest to you. From stadiums to restaurants, hotels to airports, bars to spas, we allow people to 'eavesdrop' on places to stay plugged into what is happening right now at places of interest. By making a Drop (our version of a post), users are able to make a splash that can be heard by their friends, followers, and the entire Evzdrop listener community from the place in real-time.

Hushed - Anonymous Calls, SMS

Android Police coverage: Hushed Launches Android App, Allows You To Get Anonymous, Disposable Phone Numbers In Many Countries

To solve this modern problem, Hushed brings you random, disposable numbers for calls and texts. Private calling is just the beginning: Hushed can also allow you to make cheap international calls, Google Voice-style.

--

Attach the numbers to any android device and make calls from our app and hide your real phone number with a “Hushed” disposable phone number.

Sweep Texting Free

Yep, it's another messaging/texting app. But hold on to your cynicism - this one actually has some unique features. First of all, the "sweep" feature comes from the camera gesture: sweep your hand down to view an incoming text, and up again to reply. There are also plenty of themes, including a Holo mode. This is a trial version - the full version is $1.

--

Tired of switching to your messaging app every time you need to view or reply to a text message? Sweep Texting allows you to view your incoming text messages within the app that you're currently using. Simply sweep your hand down over your device's screen (without touching it!) and a dialog will pop up with your most recent text message. You can reply to the message on the spot and when you're done, simply sweep your hand up over your device's screen to send it!

Phonechievements

You know those annoying achievements that keep popping up during your intense Borderlands sessions? Well now you can have them interrupt your real life! Phoneachievements ties arbitrary achievements to your everyday activities, like answering calls and installing apps. Achievements are synced across devices, Steam-style.

--

Phonechievement brings the gaming world achievements to your mobile phone. Using your phone now has a tiny bit of reward. Want a challange? Venture yourself into unlocking the hardcore achievements. There's one for everyone. Open the app and navigate through the list. Each achievement has a description on how you can unlock it. Want to let everyone know how you master the phone? Share on Facebook or Twitter the unlocked achievements. Just open the app and go to the unlocked achievement and a share button will allow you to do that. With each update we promise more and exciting new phonechievements and new features. Stay tuned.

reme

Re:me (reem? Ree-me?) takes the idea of notifications in a new direction. It's a secondary notification list, where the entries won't disappear until you respond or manually dismiss whatever message has come in. It should be useful for anyone who finds themselves swiping away notifications and forgetting to return calls or emails.

--

We get way too many messages, and sometimes, we tend to forget the most important ones. reme solves that problem. Instead of concentrating on whether your message has been read or not, reme tracks whether you have responded to the person or not. If you haven't, the message remains on your task list until you respond or state that you're not interested in responding. Once you've cleared the list, you are stress free. This way you will always respond to the most important messages in your life.

EQuala

Pandora and Spotify have social functions of their own, but EQuala is all about the sharing. Your personal playlist is made up of both your own musical influences and your friends, and each can be adjusted like the sliders on an equalizer. Naturally, Facebook and Twitter sharing is built in.

--

EQuala lets you play your friends music with the touch of a button. EQuala creates a personalized social radio station where all the music you play comes from people - Your friends & music lovers from all over. Simply choose the friends or music influencers that you want to get music from, add them to your personal EQualizer, and press the play button. You got it right, EQuala comes from the word EQualizer. EQuala is the first place where you can 'equalize your friends'. Share your favorite music and listen to your friends music instantly in a simple, easy and fun way. Become a taste maker and influence others or just sit back and enjoy.

BlueBox

This one's a little hard to get your head around. BlueBox is a musical instrument in software form, but it's unlike anything I've seen before. Think of it like a piano keyboard in two dimensions: each dot in the grid corresponds to a note, with different effects embedded in different sections. It's designed to be "played" with two thumbs at once.

--

BlueBox is an easy-to-use musical application inspired by the Tenori-On instrument by Yamaha. Technically a step sequencer, BlueBox is an innovative instrument enabling the possibility to play melodies, to play live several sounds simultaneously, to play sounds using procedural rhythms and many other features. An intuitive user interface based on interaction with thumbs makes possible a fast and accurate handling of all the functionalities of the application.

Guilt Free

There are a lot of options for money management on Android. So what makes Guilt different? For one thing, the color-focused Holo interface makes it very easy to see how money is being spent. For another, the colors are coded to their "guilt level" - necessary expenses are green, and money blown on extravagant electronics (among other things) is deep red. The $2 full version removes ads and adds a Dropbox sync function.

--

With Guilt you can keep an eye on your Expenses in simple and funny way. With a simple and colorful design, Guilt is perfect to all those who want to keep a track of how much money they spent and where they spent it, even the ones who don't like expense managers. Unlike other expense managers on the market, Guilt uses a "twist" to help you keep an habit of writing down your expenses: instead of adding your expense with boring categories, add your expense by the Guilt that the expense makes you feel.

Planwise

Planwise is a tablet-only app designed to help you organize your finances. It may not be Quicken, but it can handle basic expenses, financial planning, and analytics. It's also got specific plans for reducing debt, major purchases, and managing your current budget.

--

MoviePass

If you're a movie house junkie, then you need to pay close attention to the development of the new MoviePass service. It's a subscription plan that allows you to go to the movies as many times as you like for a monthly fee. The app will key you in to your membership, rewards points, and tempt your friends on social networks. It's too bad that the service itself is invite-only beta, and only works at participating theaters.

--

MoviePass is a theatrical movie subscription service that allows members to see unlimited movies in theaters nationwide for a monthly fee. Get the free app as a part of your MoviePass membership and you can see unlimited movies in your local theater. If you are not a MoviePass member, sign up for MoviePass and start enjoying your unlimited access to the movies. Android Police coverage: From The Ashes, Blockbuster On Demand Rises In A New, Play Store-Competing Form, Probably Isn't A Phoenix

Blockbuster is back, and ready to compete with the likes of Netflix and Google Play. Unfortunately, it looks like they aren't going to be gaining ground any time soon. WTF App(s) Of The Week

The Digits: Fractions Blast

1990s public television children's programming meets MST3K meets Josie and the Pussycats meets absolute gibbering terror in the video below. Apparently there's a math-based edutainment game in there somewhere. I don't know. I'm still trying to get that Judge Dredd octopus out of my mind.

--

Meet The Digits! This app is an interactive video with digital mini-games that teach fractions. It's designed for learners aged 7-11, and helps students learn and practice their fractions and other math skills. The Digits is the greatest unknown rock band in the galaxy. This world premiere "Appisode" combines live action video with over a dozen interactions and minigames that help teach a math curriculum focusing on fractions. Join Pavi, Gorgolax, and Ray Ray as they fight the evil Marvwell Doomfinger III who wants to use music to make the galaxy stupider.

NFCSecure locks the device until a key tag is scanned. It doesn't lock out NFC functions until a key tag is scanned. It also sit behind the standard lock screen. Sort of two-step authentication if you will.

      I beg to differ.

      • Colin Richardson

These app lists are for new apps, not best or recommended. Some are hits, most are misses.

I have 3 android devices and some apps are not compatible with all of them including Note 2, ASUS Transformer tablet and another phone... WTF is wrong with Google!!!

    • Samuel Hart

You do know that Google make neither the phones nor the apps, right? What part is their fault?

      • Justin Swanson

The answer is obvious, isn't it? They made android, and if they hadn't made Android then Dave wouldn't be in this problem, would he?

  • João de Lourenço

WOW!!!! This "Guilt" App is GREAT!!!
    ...
Yep, it's my app, sorry about that. But really: try it out.

Does anyone know what the best app is, for converting DC power to AC power? The reason I'm asking is, when I'm traveling, I use my GPS, and Pandora at the same time, and use my usb port on my stereo head unit to charge my GSII Epic. But even tho I'm charging it at the same time, my battery dies slowly. On a two hour drive, while using my GPS, and Pandora, and charging at the same time, I'll burn about 50% of my battery... I believe this is due to using DC power when plugged into my stereo head unit. I would like to know what app, or how to change it from DC power to AC power. I'm running JB 4.1.2, and I'm Rooted...

    • Wayne Randall

No such app. Find an inverter at your local electronics store or buy on line. Your head unit only puts out 500mA, your phone want 1000mA. Even so, you may be draining faster than 1000mA and thus will never charge, only delay the inevitable discharge.

So just buy a concert boxes that has the household plugs on it, that you plug into a cigarette lighter plug... Will this still kill battery as fast?

Been trying out Carbon for twitter on Android but I'm not sure it will replace the official app for me.

Thank you for posting this awesome list of apps, Jeremiah. I am going to go home and check out some of these once I get off from my shift at DISH. There is a noteworthy app that I would like to suggest. It’s called DISH Remote Access, and it streams live TV or DVR recordings over 3g, 4g or WIFI. I ride the train to work every day, and the time seems to fly by when I can watch the morning news on my way.
