When it comes to buying apps, I try to wait until a sale comes along. I usually end up buying things on a whim most of the time anyway, but I try to wait – especially for games and such that may be outside of who much I'm willing to spend on one app. If you're also the type who waits for a good sale to roll around, some pretty decent price drops just hit the Play Store sales floor.

A nice variety of apps there: a couple games, a reddit browser, a barcode scanner/organizer, and a fitness tracker. If any of those strike your fancy, you'll find them linked above. Enjoy.

daaaanm, i just bought Reddit News on Tuesday.

    • Drayon

I also bought it recently. However, even for two bucks it's worth it.

Same here - and definitely worth the $2.

  • Lateef

Dont you need to change the title to Januaray 2013?

    • DrewNusser

Dang it, just missed the sale by a year!

Doh. Fixed and slapped Cameron around a bit with a large trout.

How's Reddit News compared to Bacon Reader and some of the others, feature wise?

    • didibus

I prefer the interface of reddit news. It's very gesture oriented, and is really fast. I'm not sure feature wise what it has more or lacks, I do know it has plenty of features, you can pretty much do everything you would want. Of the nice things it does except having a beautiful UI that is very gesture friendly, it supports being logged in with multiple accounts at the same time, and has great notifications.

if you like the UI, check out reddit sync. It's one of the most well designed apps IMO.

I tried both, and while Reddit Sync indeed does have a nice UI, I still prefer Reddit News for features. And the latest update actually changes the UI quite a bit too.

          • http://twitter.com/navjotbatra Navjot

Sync is really has really been catching up in terms of features recently. It's also due for an UI update and the dev has been posting teasers on reddit. The main reason I use it, though, is because the dev is so awesome, and he's always open to discussion and suggestions /r/android and /r/redditsync.

Reddit News dev is also all over Reddit and very responsive. He responded to a few of my suggestions the same day. Both are stellar apps and devs.

I find Reddit Now has the most innovative UI. Reddit sync UI is pretty slick also. I have all of them installed on my phone, but keep going back to Reddit News, because it offers the most balance between features, beauty of UI, and usability of UI.

I'm not sure which features you are looking for, but you can manage multiple accounts, access the sidebar, view subreddits without having to subscribe, subscribe to subs, filter comments and posts, collapse comment threads, etc.

The only issue I've had is that with the latest update some of the imgur albums don't load correctly. You have to slightly zoom in on the page and then all the images show up.

IMO, Reddit News is a lot better than Bacon Reader. For me, it's both interface and features. Bought the $1.99 version a day after playing with the free one.

Wow I'm not much of a reddit guy, but holy crap reddit news is seriously amazing. Beautiful app. I used to use Reddit ET, and that was pretty nice as well, but this one takes the cake. Hard to explain but it's just so fluid and fun to navigate. Guess I'll be on reddit more now.

What is the difference from the Samurai II normal and THD version, for a Tegra3?
Cuz the normal version its more recente, and uses Unity 3D 3.4 engine vs 3.2.

  • Wolf

Need help please! Installed Shadogun THD on my N7, it downloaded the files, and then just kept on playing the intro music (and the spaceship exit graphics) for nearly 5 min....

How long am I supposed to wait? Or is it not working on my device?

    • Melissa Peterson

You need to email the developer if you are having a problem. This is not the right place to talk about problems with apps.

Provides music integration with runs, coaching, GPS tracking, cheers from FB and twitter friends - workout summary, history, competitive challenges, and a shoot load more. Why pay when you have it free already!
