It's time to call up the DROID RAZR M family and congratulate it on a new, slightly much girlier addition. Minutes ago, Verizon Wireless put up the bright pink Valentine's Day-themed variant of the 4.3" Jelly Bean-sporting device for sale on its website.

Update: Verizon has now updated the page and included a $50-off discount, dropping the price down to $49.99.

Unsurprisingly, the subsidized 2-year contract price remains unchanged from the black and white versions at $99.99, while the month-to-month off-contract option will make your wallet lighter by $549.99. However, if you can manage to contain the excitement and wait for Internet retailers, like Amazon Wireless or Wirefly, to get one in stock, you'll more than likely be able to save $99.98 - after all, the existing RAZR M listings have it for only a penny (black, white). Finally, if you don't feel like waiting, head to your local store in the morning where the new units should also be available starting today.

The pink edition should make a nice present for a significant other come Valentine's Day. Or hey - buy one for yourself, ladies (and, I guess, men who are in touch with their feminine side).

We loved this little beast when it came out in September, even though it didn't have Jelly Bean at the time. It is still one of the best budget phones you can buy on Verizon.

Finally, let's recap the specs, shall we?

If I got this for my wife I could only hope she'd say "why didn't you just get me a Razr M and pink case? ... S4 Plus ya' jerk!"
Can we just stop announcing Razr price drops because they're less exciting then they are sad (no hater - I almost bought an M a few months back).

Does this thing have an unlocked SIM slot for GSM carriers?

With all these re-releases in different colors (mostly the SG3).... Why have none came out in green? Andy, Android's mascot, is green.... it's the 2nd most frequently chosen color [blue is the first].... And it'd appeal to both genders rather than bight pink.... Maybe a nice metallic green - like the Kia Soul or Ford Fiesta, they're both kind of Andy green....

Maybe the 4.3/5.0 Nexus could be green, representing the fact it's the first Key Lime Pie flavored Android phone?

Interesting, Motorola says it's $49.99, yet Verizon lists it at $99.99. Bastards.

Edit: Ah, they dropped it too now.
