If you're looking for a solid LTE phone on Verizon, you'll be hard-pressed to find one better than the Droid RAZR MAXX HD. Its massive 3300mAh battery is enough to easily get you through a day (and then some), Motorola's SMARTACTIONS help automate your life, and the recent upgrade to Jelly Bean (4.1) puts the icing on the cake. And since this was one of the first phones to come out of the "new" Motorola, it should get better support than, well, all previous Moto phones.

So, if you're willing to sign on the dotted line agreeing to two-years with Verizon as a new customer (or a new line), then you can grab this gem for $99 – that's a full $200 off the Verizon price. If you're already a Verizon customer, you'll have to shell out $50 more ($150), which still saves you about 50%.

Its massive 2530mAh battery is enough to easily get you through a day

I thought it was 3300 mAh?

It's 3300mAh. The original RAZR HD has a 2530mAh. All fixed, thank you.

This is a terrible deal. On-contract and Verizon is for entitled suckers. The words "contract" and "deal" should never be uttered in the same sentence.

If you want bad-ass LTE coverage and you're into Verizon already, a contract (and this deal) is just going to save you money. It's not for everyone, but if you want the best network, this is the best deal on a great phone.

Sometimes you have to just get the carrier that has service in your area. Also everyone except T-Mobile makes you pay the same regardless if you bring your own phone or not.

Super phone with the cheesy little 2 gig plan

Signing your life over for two years is NOT a deal.

I'd been weighing up getting a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx for a couple of weeks. I read lots of reviews and this one was very useful http://search4reviews.net/ , I got my delivery last week and am very happy. I Would highly recommend to anyone still unsure.
