The CyanogenMod team has been slowly but surely rolling out CM 10.1 builds for various devices - mostly Samsung - over the last week or so. A handful of new tablets and phones hit just yesterday, including the LTE Galaxy Nexus variants, 3G Nexus 7, Galaxy S, SII, some SIII variants, and Galaxy Tab 2. Adding to that list, builds for the Verizon and Sprint variants just hit the scene this morning.

Definition: A "nightly" is a bleeding edge release that is built on a daily basis, usually at night after a full day's worth of new code has been committed.

It could oftentimes be unstable and not properly tested, lacking any changelogs, but eventually evolving into alphas, betas, release candidates, and finally stable releases.

You can find both downloads on CM's official download site, and, as always, don't forget the GApps!

CM: Verizon GSIII, Sprint GSIII

So Aerovan just let me know that they didn't commit the RIL patch yet for the official nightlies on D2VZW...serious WTF? situation.

DO NOT FLASH THE VERIZON VERSION. YOU WILL HAVE NO DATA.

This needs more attention. There are two changes that need to be merged before data will work.

Wish I saw your warning. Fighting to get data back now with the link from James Heyneman here.

Just flash the unofficial 12/17 Rom over the official 12/18 and you will have data back... Obviously you need Wifi or a Computer to obtain that Rom.

Tried that, and I did get a couple texts come through, but where I normally have 3 bars of 4G, I bounce between 0-1 bars of 4G and the phone won't even activate... :-/

Well won't see my EVO unless they get LTE running correctly. Plus looks like only Samsung mode phones are getting any love.

Verizon version: No data, Camera unstable, gallery unstable, no photo sphere, phone number listed as unknown (meaning no MMS). In other words, DO NOT FLASH THIS.

My experience as well. Unless you have access to WiFi while out and about - don't flash it.

Any one got the Sprint version yet?

  • Tyler H

  • Brad

Sprint release complains about no SIM, and 4G LTE doesn't even work.
