cyanogenmod-10.1

Update: More devices added - see the list below.

CyanogenMod 10.1 is continuing to bring Android 4.2 to more devices each day, and Samsung fans will be glad to know that nightly builds are now available for:

Definition: A "nightly" is a bleeding edge release that is built on a daily basis, usually at night after a full day's worth of new code has been committed.

It could oftentimes be unstable and not properly tested, lacking any changelogs, but eventually evolving into alphas, betas, release candidates, and finally stable releases.

Previously, CM 10.1 arrived to the Nexus 7, GSM Galaxy Nexus, Transformer Pad Infinity, Nexus 4, and Nexus 10.

    Also on Galaxy SII (int)

True that. Came out today. Daniel Hillenbrand (codeworkx) has made 10.1 smoother than CM10 due to a breakthrough in HWcompositer and all.

There's also a CM10.1 build available for the international version of the Galaxy S3 (GT-i9300). (:

WTH? So this is the like fourth post for official 10.1 on a device and still no nightlies on my toroplus? I thought that was one of the advantages to owning a nexus?

    • Cuvis

The advantage of owning a Nexus is that you get updates direct from Google. Cyanogen is not Google.

If you can't be patient use another ROM, the developers of other phones aren't the same as toroplus...

Toroplus also posted today, went up a few minutes ago.

      Nobody cares about sprint. ;-)

    Verizon can't be far behind

    • jammer

Possibly today, but I wouldn't count on it.

  • AlexMWilliams

Why you no update for Verizon?!?!

    • jammer

Probably because they still don't have the source from Samsung.

Yeah, you're missing the I9100 love here.

    • NicholasMicallef

      No they're not xD

      • gumbald

It's not mentioned anywhere in here...?

        • Fabio K

          there it is

          • gumbald

I know it's available, I installed it this morning - but this AP article doesn't mention it.

  • Zach

The i747's 10.1 is very borked. Wouldn't install if I were you.

  • Oculoid

This is not running very well on my G3. Clock crashes on boot, google now doesn't seem to be working and my phone is no longer connecting with the mighty text app. I'd say wait on this one.

    • Oculoid

Looks like you need to update the gapps file as well. Downloading now, but that should fix the google now issue and hopefully others too.

    • gumbald

      Cleared app data on clock?

Samsung Galaxy SII gets nightlies too.

Any news about the Nexus S? I've only seen unofficial builds.

    • http://twitter.com/navjotbatra Navjot

They've posted screenshots of it running on the NS4G so I'd assume that it's up and running on the NS as well. Nightlies should be just around the corner, seeing as they are already released for the Galaxy S.

Omg the CM team is amazing. I ordered a Nexus 4 because I thought he i9100 would be left behind on the 10.1 front due to all the issues I've been reading about!! Awesome. Nice to know I'll have a nice back-up phone laying around

I don't see any 10.1 for that device.

Haha you're right my bad....Its a coworker's phone not mine Lol.

All right, that pretty much cements the SIII as my next phone. This is pretty much what I was holding out on.

    • Goran Milici

The S3 is amazing. I switched from the iPhone5 and I love it way way more. Especially after installing CM10.1

  • Adam92Wilkins

last time i ever buy a htc device.

Does the camera and all of that work yet?

    • wolfkabal

It works on mine, but some of the added effects/features cause crashes. Switching to Gallery from within camera also crashes.

Still the original SGS is going strong! I wonder if they ever think at Sammy's that they've made a huge mistake when forgetting the Classic...

  • john

Did i need to wipe all before upgrading to cm10.1? right now i'm using cm10

  • noah

About my installed apps and games, is it gone after upgrading from cm10?
