Have you been looking for a high-capacity portable charging solution without the high price? Amazon's got a great deal on the highly-rated New Trent IMP120D portable charger today as part of its Black Friday Deals Week, just $53.50 shipped (and Prime-eligible). This is a pretty standard two-port USB portable charger, though with a massive 646 reviews and a 4.5 star rating, it's hard to see how you could possibly go wrong here.

This isn't the first time we've posted about deals on New Trent chargers, either. Back in August, you could buy a 7100mAh charger and a 5200mAh one together for about the same total price as this 12000mAh brick, though this deal is obviously a little more convenient. Head to the source link to check it out.

I ordered the same thing at the same price earlier this week on Monday. Got it on Wednesday. So far, it's living up to its reviews!

That's a deal! I'm using the PS Vita Portable Charger for all my USB 5v needs! It really works on my phones too!

I've had this exact model for about 4 months. It's awesome. It's the only way to survive my New York trips with continuous power. You will NOT drain this in a single day. I paid about $85 after shipping and stuff.

Thanks for this! I just ordered one :)

Just ordered one. I had a $35 gift card balance on Amazon so I paid $18.50 out of pocket. Sweet. ;-) I should be able to recharge both my GTab 2 10.1 & GNexus with some juice left over, or recharge the GNexus many times over....

How is the thickness? I have a IMP99D and that's just right. But this one looks thicker. Would it fit in a men's jean pocket?

How does it compare to this one in size?

This only difference between these two according to New Trent is the shape/size and the NT120T can charge through USB. Don't know which one to get.

oh man if this can charge my transformer prime I'll get it!! Problem is it will need usb 3.0 with otg enabled. Don't know if it can put out the 15v the prime needs, but if it does - I can't wait to combine it with the keyboard dock for over 30 hours of battery life.

ugh, nvm it's useless to me. 5v? why do the people making external batteries/bookbags keep bottlenecking the output on these things??? What devices in 2012 are going to charge in any reasonable amount of time with this. I'm tempted just to make my own amps and put them out of business -.-

      • Devin Cofer

Because that's what the devices can handle on the input...

EDIT: Apparently some do take more. They should indeed make an adapter.

would buy it if it worked on asus transformer... first world problems
