SwiftKey is definitely the 3rd-party keyboard of favor here at Android Police (just ask Artem or Cameron), and there's no doubt in our minds that it's worth four bucks. But at two bucks, it's an absolute steal. Today and tomorrow only (November 22nd and 23rd), SwiftKey will be on sale, and that includes the phone version as well as the tablet-optimized edition. That means for the price of one SwiftKey, you can get two! If you haven't already bought it, which I'm guessing a lot of you have.

SwiftKey is well-known for its outstanding prediction engine and customization options, and honestly, I've never used a better 3rd-party keyboard, even if I do still prefer the stock experience, generally speaking. Hit up the Play Store to pick it up now.

Update: The SwiftKey team notes that the Flow feature will be coming soon as a free update to existing apps (thanks, coversnails):

And for those of you wondering about SwiftKey Flow – our amazing new gesture typing technology – fear not. You’ll soon be able to beta test this via our VIP community, so register now if you’re interested. Otherwise hold tight and it’ll be available in our next major update to SwiftKey on Google Play and Amazon Appstore.

WHAT?!?!? Swiftkey Tablet! A sale! Something is wrong... Buying it now!

    • defred34

I got it 50% off some months back when they celebrated their 1st b'day was it?

  • sralj

Been thinking about for awhile, just bought it.

  • Thriller87

    I just bought it

Also as a bonus it seems that the new Swiftkey flow will be available as an update to Swiftkey rather than a new app you'd need to pay for, making this even more of a bargain, especially for the tablet version which never appears on sale

Thanks for the note, updated the post with it.

I bought Swiftkey before they even had a tablet version... and then they brought out the tablet version and wanted me to buy that instead. I'm wary in giving them more money... but at $2, I can maybe give in.

I bought Gameloft's Gangsta Rio and Amazing Spider-man... They are back at 0.99 too..

Will buyers automatically be upgraded to SwiftKey 4 once that's released, or must they buy a new app?

How have the previous upgrades been handled?

    • Ophelia

Previous upgrades have been free (swiftkey x to swiftkey 3 for example)

  • Klaine

Only buy if free.. I now have additional gesture typing with android 4.2

Quick office down from $15 to 0.99!!

    • aatifsumar

Quick Office always goes on Sale.

      • defred34

no, I dont think so. youre confused with office suite pro...that one goes to 0.99 every month or so. anyways, swiftkey is more often on sale than quickoffice

  • Android

I got it in $0.99 when Google was celebrating 15th billion app downloads

Just purchased... And I have to say I'm blown away by the predictive acumen of this keyboard. I'd been using the trial for about 2 weeks, haven't looked back. This sale convinced me... First app ever purchased, worth every penny.
